Livin' with the Land

Just know that if 12:30 is your pick up time with MDE, that bus is pulling out at 12:30 whether you are on it or not. They will NOT wait for you, and if you miss it, you have to get yourselves to the airport.
Might have to get yourselves to the airport, actually.

We were waiting at the ME spot, and had an emergency run to the restroom. One of us waited to ask the bus to wait for our return. We got there 3 minutes after our time, and bus left, despite being asked to wait for our return.

We went over to the ME folks, and they got us on the next bus, which was a half hour later. We were told that they would not be held responsible if we missed our flight because of taking the later bus. But, missing our flight wasn't an issue because:
1. They get you there so early to begin with
2. Once arriving at MCO we found our flight delayed about 4 hours

Main point: they will put you on the next bus, as long as there is room for your group.

Thanks everyone. Good insights and encouragement. It's not a make-or-break for us...so, if we miss it..we miss it.

I'd do it. If everything goes normally, you have time, but it can't hurt to build in a little more wiggle room. Try to move up the FP after your second is used or ride standby to get on earlier if possible, and be open to the idea of Uber back to the resort rather than waiting for a bus as a "plan B" if it looks like you're cutting it close.

You should make the FP. It seems people have more success getting a new time from modifying, as opposed to booking a new FP.

Also, if you can't get an earlier one, you can then make a last minute decision, based on how fast your family has been able to move (not just waiting for the bus, but walking to the bus, going to restrooms, etc).

The answer to this is that you NEVER EVER have to use a FP for Living with the Land! Go on it anytime you want want during the morning... I guarantee you won't wait more than three minutes.
Wait times are consistently 20-30+ minutes. I just checked MDE and the wait is listed as 20 minutes.

There are no "ME folks" at any of the resorts.

You shouldn't guarantee something that almost never happens. A ten minute wait is usual, with many times a 20 - 30 minute wait.

A time that is listed and actual time you wait are usually not accurate. And it's also in the middle of the day. If he's gonna be in Epcot in the morning I am confident he can ride Living with the Land with almost no wait. I go in September now, but I used to go during peak times in July with Brazilian tour groups all around and still didn't wait a minute for it because we were there right when the park opened for Soarin'.

If that's what you're willing to do, great. I'm not willing to risk it. :) As usual, YMMV.

I will respectfully disagree with this. Lately, we've seen rather long waits (20-40 minutes) at Living with the Land in the morning. We have been using Fastpass for it regularly these days.

I guess it could be the fact that Mission Space is down, so the people who would be headed there are now sometimes heading to LWTL. Anytime a ride is down, I'm sure it must have some impact on the other rides in the area. ...maybe.
