Hi all!

I thought i would start my trip report as i will be taking off for Disney World in 12 hours time! We are staying for two weeks (26/08 - 09/09) at Disney's Old Key West Resort!

We've just weighed the cases and I feel like I'm cutting it fine which is making me nervous, super glad I have extra weight for the way home!! We fly from Manchester tomorrow morning with Thomas Cook! Check in at 7.15 so have to leave here at 5.30am!!!

I have written a pre-trip report outlining our plans etc which can be found here and all being well I am hoping to keep this live trippie updated regularly!

Hopefully I've done all this right and I'll check in with you all before I board tomorrow morning! Can't believe this day has come around already, I could never have done it without your help!

Now all that's left is to force myself to get some sleep for a few hours!! :lmao:

Good morning! :)

We are all checked in at Manchester; got through check in really quick! The line at security was long but they were really efficient and through in almost no time at all! Had a quick breakfast at Girraffe (I have a picture that I will upload when I'm on my computer) had the BLT toastie which was yummy!

We have bought some snacks and magazines for the plane to keep us occupied! Boarding starts in about 40 mins!

See you all on the other side :D

Have a safe flight and a magical trip! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

you are probably there now :)

hope the flight was ok and that you have a great holiday :)

Will keep an eye out for you and other fellow Disers when we are over on saturday :)

Hope you had a great flight and are settled in your hotel? Just caught up with your fab pre trip report and am now following along-Happy holidays :yay::goodvibes::MinnieMo

I have done a bit of a proper type up of the flight which I will upload later but I just thought i'd let you all know we've arrived. A long long long wait at immigration means we're just on DME now waiting for it to set off!!

Thanks to all for following along :)

Have a great time - looking forward to hearing which building you get ::yes::

Hello all! I've been up nearly 24 hours and I'm ready to drop!! :coffee:

First off all a cheeky food pic of my airport breakfast!

The flight left a little late as they found a suitcase that needed to be put on!
I'm rubbish at sleeping on planes so I paid the £3 to upgrade the entertainment! The offerings on there were more appealing to me so it was worth the extra :)

Food was served at about 1pm. Options were chicken curry or sausage and mash! I'm a bit off an oddball and I love plane food so I was happy :)

Thomas cook staff were all lovely; I was so stressed about flying
with them but it seems to have all worked out well!

Only downside was that their flight map wasn't working. I really like to
know where we are and stuff but it just wouldn't work at all! I'm not sure if
it's cause we were running a little late or what! It's no biggie just something
I like to have :)

As I said immigration was long! Took us over two hours from leaving the plane to getting to the resort! On-line check in worked nicely for us with the hotel, I requested Miller's Road area near transport and thats exactly what we got! We're second floor in building 20! I'm a very happy bunny!

We headed to Magic Kingdom once were settled, I decided to just take it easy and not stress about getting good pictures with my SLR so we just have some iphone photos! We just mooched about riding Ariel's Under The Sea Adventure; The Peoplemover and Buzz before having some chicken nuggets at Cosmic Rays! Magic bands worked with no problems so far but haven't used fastpass or anything yet!

We watched the fireworks on the bridge that connects tomorrowland with the hub! The castle was kind of obstructed but because I'm so tired I really needed an uncrowded spot or I'd have gone into full meltdown mode!!!

The internet in magic kingdom was absolutely useless today! Hoping it was just a one off!!

Heading for some well deserved sleep before EPCOT tomorrow! :D

Have a great time :thumbsup2 You did well staying up for Wishes on arrival night :worship: I'm normally tucked up by 9!
Lovely building right by quiet pool and bus stop -enjoy :woohoo:

Just a quick update!

Today we went to EPCOT an I feel like we got lot done! Fastpass plus worked well for us today especially on test track!

We arrived just after opening and quite a few things were essentially walk on! Posted wait time for Soarin' was 45 minutes but it seemed to only take about 30 which is always good! We decided to see Turtle Talk with crush and whilst the idea for the show is fantastic today there seemed to be some problem with sound, we were nearer to the back and could hardly hear a thing! :confused3

We had a quick lunch at The Electric Umbrella (i TOTALLY failed at food pics today sorry!!) a salad was welcome, sometimes i just need something healthy in between the Disney Food!!

Then I was feeling a bit weak so we headed back to the resort for a swim and a relax before going back to epcot for dinner at Le Chefs de France. The meal was awesome and our waiter was very attentive!

We then picked possibly the worst spot for wishes; we wanted to be towards the end of world showcase to get out quick but we were too silly to notice the trees that would block pretty much our entire view of the fireworks! D'oh!

Headed to bed, Magic Kingdom tomorrow! Hope you are all well xx
