Live trip report: a quick trip back to the real world

Well as I tell my job interview contest kiddos: take deep breaths, smile, be you, tell them how your skills will make the business successful and an easy transition and don't be afraid to BS a little to show your personality.
That's the plan. I'm fortunate that I'm in a field where the demand for people is higher than the supply of qualified applicants. That gives me a little relief. Still, job interviews are not my idea of vacation fun. :rotfl:

I woke up this morning at 6:30am before my alarms went off. I have an alarm set for 7:00, 7:02, and 7:10. I've never had problem with an alarm not going off at home, but I got a little worked up last night after I convinced myself that the first alarm wasn't going to go off, even though its set perfectly, so I made a backup and a backup to the backup. Now that I'm awake (early), it seems ridiculous.

Today's agenda:

9 - 10am: Interview
2:15pm: Space Mountain
5:15pm: The Wave :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
7:15pm: Big Thunder Mountain

I have room to add stuff, but I kept the morning free of any other plans except the job interview and some time after to decompress. More updates later. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Interview: check
Shopping: check

Back at the room for a quick recharge and to get out of the stuffy clothes and into something that doesn't make it look like I'm attending a funeral or a bad wedding.

Ok, recharge turned into a full on nap. I didn't realize how tired I was. Job interviews are draining it seems. I've missed my Space Mountain fast pass, but I'm on track for The Wave. I'm altering my plans again. I need to go to Epcot tonight. At some point, they will be turning Spaceship Earth into the Death Star. My need to be there for that is huge.

Ok, nevermind. The event is RSVP only and it's sold out. No Death Star for me. :(

OK, I'm out and about. I'm currently sitting at the bus stop waiting for the bus to MK so that I can do a quick transfer to Contemporary. There are 8 people at this stop. I'm curious to see how the bus fills today.

The entrance and exit "ramp" for bus station 3 at Coronado Springs has a noticeable tilt to it. When the bus leaves, it lists a fair amount to one side.

The line for the Mono to Contemporary stretches all the way down the ramp. Ain't no Corey got time for that. Hoofing it to Contemporary.

I've arrived at Contemporary. The Mono is also pulling in. I'm claiming victory.

Immediately seated at the Wave. It's my favorite level of busy: dead. If it weren't for the table of ten, there's be five people in here, myself included. How people miss this place is beyond me. It's a real gem.

I need this place to stay here and stay open, so everyone has my permission to come enjoy one of the best restaurants on the property. Let's just not overcrowd the place. That would ruin the charm.

Rib eye was great, cooked how I like it: rare. Mac and cheese is surprisingly bland and a little heavy on the panko. Another great meal though.

The post dinner plan was originally to go on the Mono and check the decorations at poly and GF, but the Mono at the Contemporary was backed up and packed up. So, change in plans. Time to go to Disney Springs instead. Also, mosquitos are feasting on me.

The bus to Disney Springs took its time. We're moving along at a leisurely pace. The bus is nice and nearly empty.

The drone light show was awesome! I really enjoyed it. It was really short, which kind of sucks but it was so cool! My view was slightly obscured by a tree, but that didn't detract from things.

Ghirardelli was mobbed. I guess people had the same idea. I walked around until I reached Sprinkles. No crowds! I wonder why? Oh, because the cupcakes are awful. That explains it.
