Live Streamers at Restaurants

If Disney or any other place doesn't specifically ban the practice, then they have every right to be there just as much as you do. Like you have never been near or next to a table of loud talkers or even worse a large group.

Being near loud talkers isn't the same as being next to a live streamer. The live streamer is putting everything out there to the world, no matter if they originated it or not. Imagine if you were at an adjacent table and having a conversation about your relatives. People in the restaurant don't know you or your relatives, but the live streamer putting it out to the world could include your relatives, or their friends, as their subscribers.

We ate at a WDW restaurant last week. We had a great spot but the tables were fairly close together.

We ended up next to a pair of live streamers. They ordered a bunch of items one at a time and shared them. They were there through our whole meal.

I don’t mind streamers in the parks where I can generally avoid them. But sitting next to them at a restaurant was a different experience. We felt like we couldn’t talk to each other because we didn’t want our conversation blasted out to people online.

What are your thoughts? Should Disney curb this practice or should we all just go with the flow?

I've never encountered any live streamers, either at the parks or at restaurants. So I'm totally unaware-what exactly did they do that was intrusive?

I don't watch live streams however I never talk about anything in public that would be considered personally sensitive. If people on the live stream want to hear about me talking about how I can't cook or my sons football game so what?

I have zero interest in being part of someone's livestream, whether actively or in the background, even if I'm not talking about something sensitive. I've felt the same when approached by people for random TV interviews but at least in that case I can tell them I'm not interested right away and move on.

Disney like most places is considered private property open to the public so there is no expectation of privacy. Disney has no obligation nor should it ask the vlogger to leave because it make's someone uncomfortable. It's not illegal to be in a vloggers video as long as you're not "featured" in any capacity.

My issue is calling out someone that's done nothing wrong.
