LIVE review of Polynesian Club Level

to answer some of the questions asked earlier: breakfast is 7-10:30, afternoon I don't remember since we never made it back from the parks, evening meal is around 5-7, and late night is around 8-9:30. I may be off some on the evening times, maybe a 1/2 hour or so. I don't remember any muffins in the mornings. They had plain mini bagels, plain mini croissants, and cinnamon rolls, plus cereals, fresh fruit salad, and yogurt if you requested it. They also had orange juice, milk, cranberry, and another type of fruit juice. THe coffe, tea, and soda were available 24/7, the soda was kept stocked, but they did run out of diet several times. Evening offerings have definately been downgraded. Chef Dick is only allowed to display carvings on Sun. nights now. Most nights it was either chicken or turkey skewers with different seasoning/sauces, with either a rice or vegetable dish. They also had celery, cucumber slices, and carrots with a ranch dip, and pbj uncrustables for the kids. We had no problems with housekeeping, the rooms were clean and they still do turn-down service but start very early in the evening. I asked for a few extra towels and shampoo since I had a room full of kids and we never got any, not a big deal and I didn't complain. We had screaming kids, and I mean screaming, not just loud, one morning. The noise was coming thru the connecting door loud and clear starting about 6:45 a.m. I complained to the concierage, they noted it on the reservation but kept saying the parents seemed so quiet when they saw them, that they had boys who were 4 and 18 months. They offered to move us, I said no, they needed to move the problem, they said they couldn't do that. Anyway, they weren't that loud again so it didn't matter. The souvenier chocolate Poly is about half the size of last years. They've solved the problem of the to-low shower heads by adding an adjustable addition! The music for both Wishes and Hallowishes is played on the beach every night, they weren't doing that last year when we visited.

Someone asked for room recomendations, but that's really your own preference. We try for 3rd floor because it has a full balcony. Some prefer ground floor for the patio, others like 2nd floor because of the lounge. The rooms are the same, it's just a matter of what floor you might prefer.

Hi TinkerBelle_325,
Thank you very much for your detailed and live report. Sounds like you are having a great time. The Poly is one of my favorite resorts and even though we stay DVC now we try and stop by every trip and eat at Kona or Ohana. Have a fantastic rest of your trip!
