Where did I leave off? Oh yeah, dinner at CP tonight, DH was sleeping so soundly that I tried to get a later reservation but they had nothing open. I woke him up and asked if he wanted to skip it and he said NO WAY JOSE!
We got right on the monorail, again there was just us ... that is blowing my mind that it is so quiet around here, and we made our way back to MK. As we entered they had the family parade thing going on and we saw a few characters driving down Main Street.
As soon as I get to CP there was no line, that is too weird, and no one waiting on the benches....oookkkaaayyy never seen that one before. We gave them our name (this is around 5:45pm) and were seated right away (our ressie was at 6:05). They were also taking walk ups.
The inside was packed to the gills. We sat on the left side, which is a first for us, and there were 2 humongous tables of 10 each directly behind us. The kids were running and screaming like little maniacs and the parents were talking to each other super loud (they were so loud the server didnt hear what I wanted to drink and I said it loud and twice!) and they were from Boston. How do I know? Because I know that we pahk the cah in Hahvahd Yahd. I too used to speak that way but I bought the Floridians Handbook Of Dropping the Accent (when you move here they give you one
). Their tables looks like they had finished and were to leave soon so that was a good thing BUT there were super pissed that they missed Eeyore. They told the server they were not leaving until they saw him. The server told them they had to stay in their seats because there were in other peoples way. These kids were running all over and the adults were just standing around. Our server left and spoke to someone in shirt and tie and before you knew it Eeyore appeared. Thank goodness they left right after that.
As we were getting up to the buffet this guy had other ideas!
I was trying to take his pic and he kept getting closer and closer and closer and then he pecked me on the cheek! Cute!
I tried to get you all close up buffet shots but that was impossible tonight, they were way to crowded. But here are a few salad bar shots as most people were skipping that section.

Here is my salad plate with the most amazing to die for couscous with chick peas, greens and ranch dressing, marinated cukes, fantastic yellow tomatoes and a tasty pasta salad and of course the best rolls ever!
I tried the chicken veggie soup and it was good but too salty for me, DH loved it. Full of chicken and veggies too.

DH tried the mushroom soup but he said it was terrible, very thick and pasty and salty
