Live from WDW - Anabelle's dining reviews

Well I am sorry to say that I am writing my last review from the chilly state of Michigan.

We had a lot of fun and tried a lot of different kinds of food. I tried not to over eat, but I did anyway.

On Friday, we went to the last MNSSHP and ate at LTT at 6:20 PM. Samira was our waitress. This lady was on the ball. She had a lot of other tables and she was very busy. But she kept up very well. She explained the meal plan very clearly and if I didn't know the ins and outs already, it would have been good information.

Now for the food. I wasn't expecting culinary artistry there. I knew the food would be like Thanksgiving style food and was OK with that. The salad had a lovely Strawberry vinagrette. I really liked it. It was unexpected. The bread and sweet butter were good as well. The rolls were warm and the butter was soft, just the way I like them.
The sides were OK. They had mashed potatoes, green beens and mac and cheese. The beans were a little underdone, but had good flavor. The mac and cheese was a bit heavy and pasty. The mashed potatoes were good. They had pork loin that had a dijon mustard glaze. I really enjoyed it. It wasn't tough which I would expect from pork. The turkey was juicy and had good flavor. The beef had an unusual taste. I liken it to lamb. They did not have ham this time. The ice cream and cobbler was yummy. I could have filled up on that alone and been satified.

We thought the costumes on the characters were cute. They were fun. Nothing over the top here, just regular hot food in a nice atmosphere.

Well I will be signing off. I hope you all enjoy your upcoming trips !

What a beautiful night courtesy of Noel. I am actually chilly

Last night we ate at Spoodles. I have always thought of this place as a hidden gem. The flavors are varied yet authentic to the Meditereanean.

Appetizers
Dh and I shared the calamari and the margarita flatbread. Both were excellent. The calamari was crisp and spicy. The margarita flatbread was sweet and fresh.

Entrees
DH had the rigatoni and I had the kabobs. The rigatoni had just enough sauce and plenty of meat. It was wonderful, lick your plate good . (FYI I didn't lick my plate, I just wanted to)
The kabobs were rubbed with herbs. They had a strong Italian spice taste. They were tender and cooked perfectly They came with a red pepper and fennel paste and sauted sweet red onions. I wasn't fond of the combination but DH thought all the flavors mixed together well. I just ate the meat with the onions and enjoyed them that way.

Dessert
We had the Sampler. My favorite was the Creme Brulee. The chocolate cake was very good, but are not big chocolate lovers so we didn't finish it. The cheesecake was a whipped kind with a sour orange topping.. I don't like sour things, so I scrapped off the top. It was very fluffy. I enjoyd the gelato a lot. It tasted like vanilla bean.

Giorgi was our waiter. He is from Georgia in the former Soviet Union. He was very attentive and took the time to converse even though they were busy.

This was my favorite meal so far. A lot of yummy flavors prepared very well.

Glad to see you enjoyed Spoodles. Everything sounds yummy! We made an ADR for here for our upcoming trip so I hope I have just as good of an experience as you did! :goodvibes
