Live from The Wonder!!

I share your willingness to try others, and am going on RCCL next February, but that is not w/ DS. DS is 8 this week on the Wonder, will be 9 in April on the Magic. Movies may seem to some a waste of cruise time, but we don't get to the theater much because of busy schedules, so it is something of a treat on a vacation (we go at the beach, too).

Thanks for the reply, and we all look forward to seein a comparative report after you have sailed the Valor.

I"ve sailed Carnival many times. If I could combine the two cruise lines I'd have the perfect cruise! LOL I have read reviews of the Valor and have heard it's expanded it's kid's club, we'll see. We've always went kidless on Carnival. I can't see how the kids club can compare but when we were on Carnival, the kids always seemed like they were having fun.
I hear you about the movies. We kept saying we were going to go and never did, our stateroom was right nextdoor!
Your son will have a ball, the 8 & 9 year old group seemed to be the best all around IMO.

MJ! That's funny we almost cruised at the same time this time and were both on the Maiden Magic voyage. We were actually supposed to cruise Sept. 4th but it was canceled due to the hurricane. At that time I thought I was cursed booking DCL!

Thanks for all your nice replies, if anyone else needs any info just ask.
