Well, it's been quite the day!!
The seas are calm, the weather beautiful.
We left Orlando around 10 and got to port at 11. We were one of the first on teh ship. They let us on around 11:45. We checked in at the Castaway Club check in which saved some time.
Ate lunch at PC then headed to make resssie's at Palos for tonight and Wed. brunch. Ship seems quite full. We went to the Mickey pool for a while, which was a zoo! Even my son didn't want to stay in it!!
Sail away party was fun. Our stateroom on deck 5 is very convenient. My son loved the Kid's club, we didn't get beeped until 11:45 AM!!
We ate an incredible meal at Palos. I had the seafood risotto and my DH had teh filet along with a lot of apps and the chocolate soufle. We bought the premium wine package, which is nice.
Went to the adult comedy show then to 70's night. 70's night was a blast!!!
I think it's pretty late right now and we are just getting to the cabin! LOL
No pirate night that I know of. They do ahve a tropical deck party tomorrow (today) after dinner.
We'll be at Atlantis most of the day.
Any ?'s just ask. I'll be back on late tomorrow.

If you are on the 4 day wonder, do they have a brunch?, I am excited to hear aobut your trip and the activities, we go on the wonder on May 8th, with a group and trying to plan some events for singles...18-50,

How did you like atlantis?? that is one of the events we were looking at

Wishing you a WONDERful cruise!!!

Ahhh....we spent yesterday saying "Oh, last week at this time, we were getting on the ship" or "we were having dinner" blah, blah, blah! Hope you're weather was as great as ours was last week and that you have a fabulous time!

If you see our server, Veroj from Thailand, tell him we said hi!

Can u let us know about the weather in Nassau and Castaway Cay? I am departing on 16 Jan. What time did you make your ressies for Palo?

Have a great cruise, wish we could be there! Have to amuse ourselves listening to DCL's music CD that came in the mail recently.

Well, we're all waiting patiently for your next post...any pirate sightings yet?

Hello, hello again!! :)
No pirates night :( for us that is!!!
*they* are saying it starts on the next 4 day cruise!! Lucky you. We had tropical night, it was okay.
Our reservations for Palo were for 8:30 last night & yes, they have brunch but just on Wed. 10:00-12:00!! We have ressies for 11:30.
Movies that I know were Incredibles and around the world in 90 days and a few others, don't have the list with me. Our stateroom is right around the corner from the movie theatre!
Weather toda in Nassua was PERFECT!!! 80 and sunny. We went to Atlantis because a friend we are traveling with had free passes. We didn't do the whole pool thing but wish we did. We just walked around and did the Dig and went to the casino, won $150.00 and left!!! LOL What a place. The lazy river went right through the Dig, the slide looked awesome. I have no idea how much it cost but whatever it was I would pay it to go there again and spend the whole day.
Tonight we had Tritons. It was wonderful. I had the duck, shrimp cocktail and a blue cheese salad and creme brulee. Very nice.
My son had a melt down before dinner, so I ordered him room service and sent him back to the kid's club. That's the only place he wants to be. I really hope he wants to eat with us tomorrow night at AP.
Went to the tropical deck party for a while which was a bit lame.
We saw the match your mate show at Wavebands, which was okay and then went to Cadillac Lounge and almost fell alseep! LOL
Went up to the Cove for some coffee and the beeper went off, oh well. I love the Cove. It's comfy cozy and has great coffee!! What a great addition.
Thinking of booking the 7 night before we leave the ship.
BTW, I was very PO'd at room service this morning. We ordered breakfast for 9:30-10:00 and they showed up a little past 8:00!! Good thing I didn't know it was that early or the waiter would have paid!! I did complain, but really just didn't want it to happen again. We just aren't morning people.
Tonight they sent up an apology note and some desserts. Let's see how they do in the morning again.
Well, we should be moving soon. All aboard is now.
*See* ya tommorrow night after CC!!!

CPM, we were just on the Wonder the cruise before you!! WE also had a great time in Cove Cafe....if you go in again please say hi to Xena for us....she was a doll. Tell her the Kovalsky family says hello....our name is Kovall but she called us the Kovalsky family all cruise...kinda of a running joke with her. She also tends bar in Diversions sometimes. Please tell her we say hi!!! Thanks.

Hi Cheryl,
Please give lots of details. Like I said this will be our first cruise ever. Its me, my husband and 4 yr old daughter. We have no idea where to start, any ideas and suggestions would be helpful!

We are booked on the Wonder for March 20-24th!

We cant wait!
Whowee!! :earboy2:

Thanks SO much for filling us in! We are on the NEXt 4 day! I hope they are right about the pirate night!

Since this will be our first cruise I really appreciate your keeping us posted. I am looking forward to a latte in the cove!

Maybe I am in a minority, I just like the whole idea of wearing a loud tropical print shirt on vacation, and love caribbean muisc :rockband: (steel drums = relaxed), I even have Harry Belafonte in my car CD player right now. So I am on the next 4 nighter and am not necessariloy stoked for Pirate night. I have viewed the menu of the Pirate night dinner, but I think that is just for the Magic. Whatever--it says Pirates of the Caribbean, right? Well, this Caribbean/Bahamas cruiser will enjoy an evening in a loud shirt from Hilo Hatties, DS has one to match, and DS also has a Disney Tropical shirt as well.

Q: How much does a pirate cost? pirate:
A: A buck an ear.

Q: What is a Pirate's favorite letter of the alphabet?
A: Arrrrrrrr! pirate:

Thanks folks, you've been great, don't for get to tip your CM's and enjoy the rest of the cruise.....

This may seem like a dumb question, but do they let you keep the menus?

I cannot stop shaking! The only thing I was missing from the 7-night cruise was the pirate night, so if we get this I will be OUT OF MY SKIN! Woo! Hoo!

Also, I want to say to LuvTinks--please let us know if they really do start the Pirates night on your cruise...

And..again, thank you for the wonderful live posts! They are always the best!

Hello again!

What a day is all I can say. CC was PERFECT!!! 80's and stunning. The island is just as beautiful as I remember it from 6 years ago.
We had such a nice relaxing day. My son stayed at the CC kid's club all day.I couldn't get him out.
We left CC around 4ish. We had the Castaway Club party at 5:15. It was nice. They offered free cocktails and some appetizers. We talked to captain John for a while. he was also on the maiden voyage of the Magic and so were we. We joked about how bad that cruise was!! DCL has come a long way since then, that's for sure!
After the nice CC party we went to bingo and LOST! LOL it was fun though. Then it was a quick run to dinner. We were at AP tonight and finally got the kids out of the kid's club. I am traveling with another couple with two girls and a coupl ewothout kids. It was fun, the kids were having a great time. The food wasn't as good tonight as the other two nights. I had the steak, and some goat cheese app.
After dinner we went to 80's night after checking the kids back in. It was a hoot! I love these shows.
Not much else to report because of CC day, and I'm sooo tired! I need a vacation!LOL
Tomorrow is sea day and brunch at Palos.
As for the tropical night, it's just that it's a dud. The pirates night just seems more exciting. Fireworks and costumes. Just something new. PC is a tropical theme,
so they already have that covered.
BTW, I'm glad I brought some bottled water, it was handy having it in my cabin. The extension cord also came in handy. Thanks for the tips fellow cruisers.
TTYT! :flower1:

CPM--Thanks, again, for the great updates! We are really enjoying these little synopsis and tips you are passing along!

I just hope I can remember everything when I cruise in three weeks!
