Hello all my DIS friends!!

WL is great...got upgraded to Center courtyard just off the lobby...my request.
Weather is PERFECT after a bit of fog yesterday.

Met with Valentine and Gary M last night...we had lots of fun by the fire and watched the Electric Water Pagent together.

ok..time for some vittles in the WCC!!

ok...I can report SUCESS on towel animals!!! A octupus and a donkey this AM...

JMK - Crowds are fine..MK on Monday was a bit busy, but not bad at all...waited 30 minutes for Pooh and 15 for Pirates

Beckie - I just told them I wanted the room that opened to lobby facing the center courtyard. My door is directly behind the big fireplace..#4067. Fireplace seems to buffer alot of lobby noise!! Great room and view.

Whew!!

I think I need a vacation after my vacation.

MORE TOWEL ANIMALS!!! Got a turkey, rabbit and turtle today...and turndown service is so great!!

Tonight we had dinner at the California Grill atop of the CR. We had a 5:50pm and requested a window seat. Sat in the far NW corner and had the BEST view of wishes...WOW!!!! FOOD AWESOME!!! Mom was WAYYYY impressed. Please, see Wishes from California Grill...so worth it!

We also hit the hot tub this afternoon...it was really nice! Perfect after a long day at MK.

Now to answer your questions:

Fred - have not been to the Box yet..plan on doing it tomorrow

Disneykid- I asked the CRO to request a upgrade when I made the reservation. When I got to the desk, I pointed to the rooms I wanted...opening to lobby, balcony facing the center courtyard.
I REALLY wanted 5th floor, but only 4th was available. It really is better..I can see Bay Lake, but there is a tree that blocks a complete view of the Lake...but, because it is behind the fireplace...it is very quiet.

There is a fireplace on the 4th floor and 5th floor right above the entrance. I had read about these on the boards, but never seen them myself..Very nice for filling your mug and relaxing.

Got the tour of 7th floor...Valentine (Kathy) was staying up there and we had dessert and cordials!!

ok..need to get in the bath and to bed.. We had an 8AM PS at Cinderellas Royal Table tomorrow.

Hey All!! Just back from The WL and my meeting with Betsy and Gary!! Nice to meet them both!!! Yes.. I was lucky enough to stay on teh 7th floor and LOVED it... what a fabolous place the WL is.. I now understand why you all love it so... I will definitely be back for more.. it is my new home.. Oh.. and Fred.. I did sort of say hi for you... I was chatting with Glenn and we talked about the boards and such.. and of course.. he mentioned you..... So.. you were there in spirit.. Unfortunately.. with the yucky weather ... I never got to look for the box... and have my trinket to put in it still in my pocket.... Oh well.. a reason to go back REAL SOON!! Have to agree with Betsy... I spent EVERY Night in the hot tub and it was glorious!!! Well... since I just got in from the airport (literally!!) I have got to hit the hay... I have yucky work tomorrow..a dn I have to start picking my next dates!!! Yipppeee!!! Thank you all for your advice.. and I look forward to meeting more of you in the future!! Have fun Betsy!!!
