Fellow Bostonian here Im doing pretty much the same thing you are. Where did you stay your first night? We're going to DTD area..Best Western Lake Buena Vista (also flying JB out of Logan and checking into the Poly the following day Cant wait to see/read the rest of your trip Congratulations. Happy Anniversary!

2pm and we are back at the Polynesian lounge. We look like drowned rats because there was a deluge as we were exiting the Tiki Room!! ️

Our room isn't ready yet but the CM downstairs put a note in to housekeeping that we're waiting.

In the meantime we are snacking on the afternoon lounge offerings which are oatmeal cookies, chocolate chip cookies, cheese popcorn (tastes like Smartfood popcorn), gummy bears, and goldfish crackers.

Beverages are lemonade, iced tea, POG (passion fruit orange guava juice), cans of soda, coffee machine, teas, and fresh whole fruit oranges, apples and bananas.

There's an awesome CM here in the lounge. I haven't gotten his name yet but he offered beer or wine to my DH and I. DH declined but I am now sipping White Zinfandel.

Edited to add: His name is Irv and he's keeping everything replenished and so friendly to everyone.

Love the anniversary check in story, and happy anniversary to you! Can't wait to hear about your room, we are staying GV CL in October for our 20 year anniversary, albeit with our 3 children along for the celebration too! I know the pool will be under construction, still hoping it's magical and not loud.

Our room was ready at about 3:30. We were browsing in Bou-Tiki when we got the text message. It didn't give us our room number but it said to stop at the desk in the Hawaii building. The CM there presented us with another set of fresh leis!! He also had us do the anniversary tradition of placing the leis on each other. So now I have a fresh flower lei with purple flowers, and this one with the pink flowers!

In our room was an autographed card from Mickey and Minnie wishing us a Happy Anniversary, along with the club level welcome card and chocolates!

As I was posting the above pictures there was a knock on the door from a CM with a delivery from Disney Floral & Gifts. It was from our travel agent Jason and Tikiman!! To say that we are blown away is an understatement!!!!!

It's a large insulated bag FULL of goodies and an autograph book and pen!!
