Following this 90-page plus thread has been wonderful. I've been lurking, following everything, but wanted to post a big "thank you" to everyone on board the Magic as well as those on land who have helped bring the Magic home to my laptop.

What wonderful pics of Alcapulco. I was hesitant to return to the boards as I was going through the posts on Saturday and my hard drive crashed. I thought it was something I did, a virus or something. My DH assured me it was a mechanical issue in the hard drive and nothing I did. Well he worked on it for 6 hours, I cried that x 2 bc I lost all my photos including those from my 2 Disney Cruises. NO we did not back up.

But... a new computer and 2 days later I am back and boy is my computer running great!

I hope you are all having a blast on board the Magic. I have enjoyed my trip with you via the posts.

thanks for the great pictures time seems to be moving slowly still have 33 days to go. Some cruises on the june 25 cruise have gotten their docs I am still waiting. I am looking forward in hearing about what happens on the MAY 28 CRUISE that is when we will get some ideas what will be happening on our cruise day by day. Have a great cruise and what is left.

Man what a day! First a big ol' mouse on the ship (wonder if the CDC knows about that). Then Pirates! How exciting!

Acapulco was great today, not as hot as I'd expected. We went to the cliff divers, Hard Rock Cafe, Wal-Mart and walked around a good bit. The taxi drivers are very pushy when you get off the ship and will follow you down the streets. Pirate night dinner was great--we also had the Disboard group photo with Captain Mickey tonight.

P.S.-The official word is out, the show in the Walt Disney Theatre tomorrow night will be a live performance by Boys to Men. No word yet about the "celebrity" show for Wednesday night.

I love the young boy w/ the ripped abs. What a great family! So, could you all tell me what you do for Pirate Night? Were costumes provided or did you bring your own? Is it part of your meal or dessert party? There's fireworks involved correct? Could you all tell me the why, where, and how of this great party?! I'm super curious (and nosey). Thanks!

How very cool. I know who the people on the right are in that couple pic of pirate night!!!!! Finally, someone I recognize!!!! I know a few others on board but haven't seen them in any pics. But I keep looking!!!!

Hi All

Great night at the pirate night ..

We Feel disney has Real Stepped up the Game For this Trip..

Everything is EXCELLENT...

With 90 % return Cruisers They Had to Change it up abit..
with about 1700 adults and 300 kids
it has tested the regular Cruise the Deliver...

Have made thing available to us That normally would Not Be ...
Kids club and so on

Just avout every night we have had recieved something With Dinner
or A twist in the normal dinner Shows

We did the 3 day Murder Mystery ..
Was Fun And Done Just for the repo ...
BBq on Deck 9 Canal Day Was Also Done For This Trip...

in The Am President of Dcl Will Be Breifing ius on Changes to the Magic in Dry Dock and The companies outlook for the future..

But here is One Tid Bit ...

The Gym Will Be made Larger.. Covering the Bridge area .
And The Spa Area Reconfigured...

Enjoying this Cruise.... and Hope Disney Continues to do longer Trips

I woke up this morning and found some more photos that Peter had sent to me over night that were taken during the Pirate's Night festivities.

The other officer in the photo with Rachel was the cruise director we had on our special 4 day sailing of the Magic this past January, if I remember correctly, he name is Brendt.

I also received some photos from "a friend" on the Magic and I will be posting them later after I resize the photos.

Good morning everybody. I have died and gone to heaven. Last night was the greatest. "Sitting in the harbor and have multiple bouts of fireworks. Disney put on the show of the century. I am certain that the ship was turning circles as the show went on . We could see the cross over Acapulco move from side to side.
It is official now. In the navigator, Boyz 2 Men will be performing tonight in the Walt theater. I thought that the group was to be on board when we left Port Canaveral, but no. Looking forward to seeing the report on DCL. THe only problem with the talk is that it is supposed to be in the movie theater. Not enought seats even though he is doing another talk. I anticipate massive crowds.
Bravo, Peter, you are on top of it with the pictures. The disboard pirate picture was last night with swashbuckler Mickey in the front.
Today is sea day. Next stop , Mazatlan.
