The DCL CC website had this posted earlier this week, the link doesn't deem to be working. I am not sure when the PC is happening, so the dates may not work, although he has boarded the ship at other pots in the cruise,. so you never know.

I am Waaaaay over due for a DCL. We have been to WDW 3 times since our cruise but when you don't get on the ship it feels incomplete! These transatlantic threads are awesome and I can't wait to do it one day! Keep the Postings coming!

He usually does the longer cruises.

If he does do the PC... he will probably get on the ship in say Aruba and cruise. He didn't do the entire cruise with us - but he was there for alot. I did the WBTA in '08.

I can see the Magic in the harbour and have taken some photos but cannot remember how to post them, any help please.

It's lovely to see her and brings back a lot of memories, but sad as well....

I'll take some more photos and post them when I get back from work.

Husbands family lives in Europe so we have to change money frequently. In Atlanta if you are AAA there is no transaction fee. But we did a $750 credit debit sort of card last year at JFK worked great with all the different currencies. Could work with dollars, euros, and kunas

I just wasted about 30 minutes making a post that did not go through! There was some kind of error and I lost everything I just typed! So now I have to try to recreate what I just did. Bear with me...

The Dooney and Bourke bag prices are $49 for the wristlet, $160 for the next larger, $190 for the next and $225 for the largest.

The weather today is pretty yukky! Cold and rainy most of the day. There are a lot of people around the Cove Cafe bundled up in a blanket or 3. We had a few sprinkles yesterday but today has been the worst day of the whole trip, weather wise.

I just received my Welcome Home letter. There is a UPS counter in the cruise terminal for those wishing to lighten their load a bit. This is what the paper says, "UPS will be located inside the cruise terminal building during debarkation hours. Prices are determined based on items and quantity shipped. Please allow extra time if you pland on utilizing this service."

Also, if you are flying on DELTA ONLY, you can check in your luggage and get your boarding passes in the cruise terminal. You have to check in at least 2 1/2 hours before your flight leaves in order to give them time to get your luggage over to the airport. Since my Disney booked Delta flight leaves at 10:00 am, I have to be in Rockin Bar D at 0630!!! I sure hope I can sleep on the plane...

Well, we land in Barcelona at something like 0500 so I don't know if I will be posting tomorrow or not. They cut off the internet at midnight tomorrow. I will post pictures when I get home and have unlimited internet. I hope your cruise is as wonderful as mine!

Great information, happy you are having such a great cruise. If DH and I had more vacation time we would have joined you folks! We are on the 6/12 Baltic cruise. It will be interesting to see if they offer the same Delta check-in service in Dover. That would be awesome! Last Med cruise they didnot offer this service and we were in line in Barcelona for 2.5 hours!

In a nutshell...

Food is good (still miss the peanut butter pie from Animators)

Entertainment on a whole is not good. The main stage performers are great I just wish that we could see more of them!

The new show...The Dream Goes On was WONDERFUL and I really hope that DCL incorporated it into its regular shows.

We were very disappointed with Villians. I tried to go into it with an open mind but it was just a bad show. There was no point to it. The story line did not flow, the jokes were for 2nd graders and the some of the scenes were just really hard to sit through. Again, the cast itself is wonderful, the show is just awful!

We were chosen as "family of the cruise" so we have had goodies dropped off at our room each day.

I won a Don Ducky Williams drawing from his presentation.

DD got a picture from Brooke White that she drew on stage. She got it during the performance from her and Justin Guarini. There is more of a description about that in my blog but here is a pic...

Castaway was great! The days at sea were amazing!

DD had a scare in Madeira after falling backwards down a steep staircase but luckily she is ok!

Today we are in Cadiz and I am enjoying FREE unlimited wifi at the library which is just a few feet from where the ship docks!

TA merchandise is not half as nice as it was last time around. The med stuff is great though. They just put it all out yesterday. We will be buying mostly med merchandise this time around.

Also, love the new purses that came out on our cruise. I got the large one and the wristlet.

Ok time to head back to the ship for more fun on the Disney Magic!!!

I am hoping to do a Transatlantic with at least my youngest dd in 2012...
2 questions... what type of stateroom are you all in? and are you eating at main or late dining? You seem to be able to get a lot of activities in.

I've so enjoyed your journey across the Atlantic thank you for taking time out of your days to post. My DH and I will be cruising on the last 10 day med and then bringing the magic back on the WBTA. Oh and I am hoping they have any of the Dooney and Burke purses left.

Well, I'm sitting here trying to pack and watching Camp Rock. I am so bummed! I don't want to get off the ship much less go back to work! I don't even want to finish packing because I am afraid my luggage will be overweight. I tried not to buy much in any ports so I had lots of money left over. So, I paid off my account with all the money I didn't spend! It feels good to be getting off the ship with a zero balance!! I'll try to download my pics before I go back to work on Wed. Then I'll post some here and on my photobucket. See you when I get home!!
