Live from the Disney Wonder 8/13

Just wanted to say "hello" from the Wonder, we are having a blast already and looking forward to the weather clearing up. The sky was a bit overcast but we still got the Sailaway party and we actually ran into WebmasterCorey during Sailaway. Never did find the other DISer's who are sailing this cruise but if your onboard and reading this, hope your having a good time too. Will post more later.

Have a great cruise. We were just on the July 23rd Wonder and had a blast. So much to do and so little time. This was our first cruise, so we took it easy and enjoyed the sights and sounds. The next one will be 7 nights.

Well I'm heading to have some fun at the Disco but til then a quick update. We did some pin trading in the lobby and got a few really cool pins and met a few people and talked to them about pin trading. After that we headed to dinner in Parrot Cay tonight, we have Igor and Simona for our service team and they are excellent. I had the Crab Dip, Onion Soup and Mixed Grill all of which were excellent and John had the Crab Dip, Fruit and Steak, he enjoyed his dinner as well. Dessert was Creme' Brulee Cheesecake. Our server Igor told us that we would be staying in port till 1:30am so that was a nice surprise and now we are planning our after dinner activities tomorrow. If anyone has any suggestions for night time fun in Nassau please let us know.

Don't worry those who are waiting for their cruise, it will be here soon enough. =o)

Oh yes I've seen him around. A rather fun guy. The Cruise Staff this week has been WONDERFUL!!! I can't say enough about them and all the fun we've had, I'm sitting here and it's 2:30am and I don't want to go to bed because I know when I wake up I'll be home...waaa! I'm sorry guys I haven't kept up with the Live report but there is so much to do, we sailed less than two months ago and I'm still overwhelmed by all there is to do and see. We haven't had a free moment all cruise. I will write a full report tomorrow or Friday. Till then....

We are going on the Wonder next week and was curious as to your internet connection. Are you using the business center and a PC there or your own laptop with some internet connection?

The internet cafe area. There are computers located on deck 3 aft between the lobby and Parrot Cay and there are also computers on deck 9 in the Cove Cafe'. I enjoyed the ones in CC because it was nice and quiet and more relaxing up there. I purchased the unlimited plan for $39.99 for the week. Well worth it as the per minute rate is .75 a minute. There are no unlimited plans for laptops.
