LIVE FROM THE "BRINGING THE MAGIC HOME" 8/20 REPO CRUISE

Thanks to everyone for a great day. Especially Alvaro, GoofyGuy, OffKilterFan, and everyone who posted pictures, slideshows, etc. This was fun & a great way to teach my DS about canal locks. The only one we get see is the one from the Chicago River out onto Lake Michigan.

Ah well, maybe some day . . . . :upsidedow

There is always a trip to the upper peninnsula of MI to the locks at Saute Ste. Marie (the Soo)

Could someone see if Philip (server from Croatia) will be on the October 29th Magic cruise and Oliver (server from :confused3 ) will be on the September 10th Magic cruise? Thanks! Hope y'all are having a great cruise!

I'm sure this is unlikely - but if anyone on board has Wis (Thailand) and Oksana (Russia) for servers, could you please take a picture and email it to me? We had them in June this year and loved them, but the ONE picture I took of them was terribly blurry.

Thanks!

GoofyGuy777 that video is AWESOME!!!! Thanks so much for sharing.
I too, am glad that your wife shared you with those of us on the disboard.

If you look at pictures 36, 37, 38 in the album view you can see the back of the ship turn to the left. Is that when they hit?

If anyone has all of the webcam pictures from the May crossing saved on their computer please PM me. I was trying to put a project up on my webpage, but I seem to be missing some of the pictures and can't complete it until I get the missing pics.

Will try to get the "official" version some time today!!! In any case, could not have been that serious... otherwise the MAGIC would have stayed in Panama pending an investigation :cheer2:

Fabulous video, Steve! What a lot of hard work and a wonderful keepsake for those who cruised! Congrats on your lovely new family member.

Yep, Goofy's assistants were out painting before we even got off the ship! And Tom McAlpin joked later that it wasn't a problem, they had brought "plenty of paint".

Hi all. Actually, I am sitting at Signals (surprise), enjoying a pre-dinner margarita and recovering from today's heat, and Tom McAlpin just came by about 15 minutes ago to order a drink. So he's not off the ship yet...but we don't sail until 10! He's still got time...

I'm sure Laurie will tell you how I became foreboding of our departure one week prior...and it progressively got worse. I REALLY do not like the last day and the night before. I am glad to hear that everyone had such a great time. Did anyone go on the family snorkeling trip? We had a great time with guides- they took a lot of time with Noah so he would feel comfortable looking in the water. (he doesn't like getting water in his face)

I look forward to learning about the new changes at CC.

Talk to you all soon- I'm just catching up on the boards before I start work at 7pm. (listening to Disney podcasts and reading the boards)

For all you medical professionals out there, how long can one person survive on too much fun, too little sleep, lots of sun, lots of heat, lots of humidity and cruise food? Been averaging about 6 hours of sleep per night LOL.

Susan Eagen was fantastic!!! She sang some Disney songs, Broadway songs. Sang a really funny song about Taylor the Latte Boy. She did "I'm in Love" from Hercules where they took her voice out of the video and played the video with just muses singing and she sang Live with it. Also did a couple songs from Beauty and the Beast.

Tonight it's Mark Curry and Kermit the Frog. Can't wait!! We had fireworks from Curacao last night when we left and then Pirate night fireworks. Today we will have a group photo.

Gotta get back to the laundry. Talk to you all too soon. Only three days left :(
