Live from the Boardwalk...

The high speed service seems fast. I called mousekeeping for an etherne cord and they brought it withen 10 minutes. I had some trouble logging in but one phone call got me up and running. (someone mentioned the tricky nature of using the phone and being on the computer in a studio.... I giggled coz it is true.... the phone is behind the pullout and the DSL line is on the opposite wall near the table.)

Had dinner at Victoria and Alberts tonight..... wonderful, amazing, a real treat.

We have a Boardwalk view, on the third floor, right across from the water gun game. The Boardwalk is livily tonight and the backround noise people having fun is nice.

Saw IllumNations from our balcony.... I will post pictures when I return.

Weather has been perfect.

So exactly how cold is it then?

Average this time of year should be 48° low and 71° high. Yesterday it was 39° and 56° respectively. We get more than our fair share of pleasure in escaping to Florida with DVC, and reading this board is my way of doing that by proxy!

Dinosauer was closed today...... and they were not sure if it would be open tomorrow. Is it under construction???

The new coaster at AK is coming along nicely. I opted not to bring my camea today, so no pictures of that.... but I am sure somewhere on the DIS there are current photos.

Weather continues to be wonderful, a short weak shower hit around 1pm, but it was over quickly, and despite the clouds, I got mighty toasted today

While you're enjoying the pool do me a favor -- look at the tiles surrounding the inside edge of the pool. Are they.. clean? Last time we went, I thought they really needed a major scrub-down. All that suntan lotion takes its toll, I guess -- you could hardly see poor ol' Dumbo! And there were leaves everywhere (and this was August... not exactly tree "molitng" season if ya know what I mean...)

I'm hoping the pool will be a bit cleaner for our summertrip this year...
