Reguarding the jellyfish.... I never saw one in any port we were at. We were by the water in all ports.
In Puerto Vallarta we did the Paradise Beach excursion which was wonderful! The water was warm! My kids boogie boarded for hours, and never saw a jellyfish. The water was the warmest at this port, too. This is a beautiful resort, and we enjoyed the pool too!
In Mazatlan my daughter saw two jellyfish washed up on shore...and then no more. My kids boogie boarded there too. We did Randi's Horses, and had a fabulous time! We did not see any jellyfish along the water at all. Water was great, but a bit cooler than PV. Still very comfortable. I did hear of one person on another ship getting stung by a jellyfish, but not sure what port.
In Cabo, we snorkeled in Santa Maria Cove. It was a beautiful trip out, and the snorkeling was pretty good! We were surprised by two things. The clarity of the water, and the COLDNESS of the water! I am sure closer to shore it was warmer like in the other ports but out farther we were quite cold and glad to get back on the catamaran and warm up again. The weather was wonderful and warm and not a jelly fish in site. The catamaran was very clean and the staff very hospitable. We had a wonderful time!
The weather in all ports was just fantastic. All of our sea days except for the very last one was wonderfully warm. We really felt quite blessed on this trip.
