Dubbya- I don't know about the TCD's hooking up with you guys for a reunion. It seems like we aren't going to have free time to get away until Summer, and then we already have a house rented for the first two weeks of July in Seaside, FL. That is in the Redneck Riviera. I'm sure you Texas folks have heard of it!

Attention Turkey Day Cruisers:

I have another important and amazing discovery to reveal

This one concerns our fellow Turkey family, the Scorpio1112 family. According to the information they provided, they go by the names Sherri and Ron, and they live in the Philadelphia area.

I'm not so sure about that.

Here is the photo they supplied to Doogie, which I lifted from the official Turkey Day Cruise website:

As you will recall, these folks kept a low profile on our cruise. Why, you ask?

Well, I think I have it figured out. Mr. Scorpio 1112 is a famous actor! A few weeks ago, I see a TV listing for a new show called the Justice Project, or something like that. It is about a wealthy lawyer who uses his wealth to help out the less fortunate (you have got to be kidding me!). Well, the lead actor in the show is Kyle McLachlan, and they have a photo of him. I'm looking at it, and I'm thinking, this guy looks really familiar. And, then it dawns on me-this is Mr. Scorpio1112! Check it out:

You have got to admit that the resemblance is there. Much more so than the Willie/Scotty connection.

Thanks, Dubbya- Your photos confirm that this was definitely Kyle on our cruise! So, then who is "Sherri" ? Maybe they had to keep a low profile because Kyle is married to some one else. Here is some info I found:

Aside from his recent gig on HBO's Sex and the City, the 43-year-old thespian is best known for his star-making, Golden Globe-winning turn as FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper on David Lynch's bizarro Twin Peaks TV series. The only thing bizarro about his love life, though, is just how many of Hollywood's hottests he has dated.

MacLachlan has romanced the likes of Laura Dern and Lara Flynn Boyle and was even engaged to supermodel Linda Evangelista for four years, but he never settled down.

At least until Gruber, a 34-year-old Manhattan-based fashion publicist whose clientele includes Naomi Campbell, came along. MacLachlan was smitten after the two met at a chiropractor's office in 1999 and they've been an item ever since. The couple announced their engagement last August.

MacLachlan's résumé also includes Lynch's Dune and Blue Velvet, Oliver Stone's The Doors and Paul Verhoeven's Showgirls.

Now, Mrs. TCD had a reason to make herself scarce around you. She was suspicious after the long story you told her of your poor brother in law losing his favorite pit bull, "Molly." You have to remember that came after Lampy's tale of his first love named "Molly" (who, incidently, was a sheep).

Anyway, getting back to Kyle, since he obviously has a taste for "Hollywood's Hottest," the question that we need to get answered is who is "Sherri"? Dubbya, I think you might have some valuable photos!

Oh yeah, don't forget to note that Kyle is a "thespian"- so he must have spent a lot of time hanging out with you and Lampy on the cruise, right?

On the 10 day Christmas cruise thread, someone made a suggestion that the men come to dinner one night wearing grass skirts. Lampy will be very excited to read about that!
Now, why didn't we think of that last year? I would do it only if the womenfolk will come to dinner wearing the top half of that out fit- coconut bras!

I'm BACK!!!! Thanks all!!!! Yes, do I have STORIES!!!! And yes, I am 20/15 So they put me on a gurnee, stick and IV in me hook up a heart monitor and ask me my date of birth...I respond 4-20-65, I listen up and hear the other 5 people in the room....."02-12-1929, 5-25-1923 etc." I look around and I'm with the "geritol crowd" .....They take my blood pressure and say "we'll have to do this again....it's a little high, have you had a problem?" I said "it's one of two thinks....1) You are about to strap me down and brun a hole in my eyeball or........got out to the lobby and meet my wife.....then you tell me!" That got a laugh.....finally they duct taped my forehead to the gurnee, that's right duct tape.......thousands of dollars for medical equipment and that is what they use to make sure I don't move in surgery......then they put what I call a KKK mask over my face with one hole for my bad eye.....I can see NOTHING.....when I hear this soft voice...."Mr. Lamparski, do you live on Lakeshore drive in the Four seasons on the lake?"......Hmmmmmm you all have met me I an taped down....should I answer?

Maaannnnnn, I wish we were on the 10 day next X-mas! Jackie still says, 'No'. I'm about ready to give up. We may look at something over spring break, there's still room on the Eastern!!! But it won't be with you folks . I've yet to start a Pikey website. Someday.

Lamps, I sold the Vette; my mid-life crisis must have happened early for me; I'm over it. You'd be happy, I got a Dodge Durango Limited w/ a Hemi LOL.

Willie, Lincoln and I were talking about the "Millers" tonight. We're headin' fishing this summer, he swears Willie is coming too! He mentioned Kayla... I said, "Lincoln, did you kind of like Kayla?" He said, "Yes, but I'm not old enough and even if I was old enough, she'd probably beat the crap out of me. She was a tomboy." I about fell out of my chair laughing!

I need a cruise... about every 3 months!!!

Doogie, do you know yet when your spring break week is? We're booked for the March 17th eastern. (That's if the 'proposed' school year calendar for 2006-2007 doesn't change.)

I think all of you Turkey day cruisers should book that one as well.

Someone needs to warn the folks on the 12/16/06 cruise not to encourange Ron and Dubbya. I really don't think they understand what they have coming!

Guys, if you need the grass skirts and coconuts, I am your man. I think I have about 8 sets left over from Mrs. TCD's 40th BD party. It was a Luau theme, and the men folks wore the skirts and coconut bras and did a dance for the ladies. A very distubing sight, I must admit, (and as you know it takes a lot to get me disturbed ).

Priscilla- We are actually considering this (Spring Break '07) too. I haven't seen a final calendar for next year, yet though. We have also been thinking about the New Year's Eve Magic cruise (12/30/06). Our Christmas break doesn't begin until right before Christmas in 2006/2007, which means exam week will be during the 12/16/06 cruise- another reason we cannot go then.
