I am so sorry for those of you in the mid-west and north-east. Be careful!

It is just a little cloudy and 70 here in Fla.

But, two weeks ago, we were here:

I can't believe that was only 14 days ago!

Dubbya-

I am enjoying reading how you are making lots of new friends on your new cruise thread. I just thought I needed to share this post:

Willie, Welcome!

How often are you told you look just like Scotty from Star Trek??? Or is it just in your pictures?

Woah! They are talking smack to the new guy already!

Scotty? Now, that thought never crossed my mind.

But, now that she mentions it . . . . :scratchin

Dubbya, You have to admit, it is like looking in a mirror, isn't it?

Just thought I'd share what one of our 'wacky' DJ's said this a.m. (Dallas)

'You know, people from California have told me.."In Southern California, we have the ocean on one side, and mountains on another. So, we can swim in the morning, and ski at night."

"Well, in Dallas, we can swim in our pools in the morning, and skate on them at night."

:rotfl: :rotfl2:

SILENCE

Okay, I guess you would've had to have been there. Rachel and I laughed out loud. Anyone who lives in Texas can identify with that statement. (Are you reading this Willie?) Thought it was a nice change from 'if you don't like the weather in Texas, wait five minutes, it will change.'

Buddy Bear, good for you and your six inches of snow, not having to work today. Are you going to build a snowman for your DDs?

W - Dan walked in room, when I was reading your question of "thong comfort" and he said to tell you "comfort is not the object" - he then casually mentioned "I think I saw those buns walking around once" - yeah - now I know why he said he was going for a "walk on the beach"

Bev, you guys are tooooo funny!! Go DAN!! Smooth excuse to walk the sand!! :rotfl:

Hey~Has anyone heard anything more about DCL cruising the Med.??? Dubba-Ya??? Lampy??? You guys always seem to know the scoops before anyone else!!

NOTHING can replace Corona! Try cutting back elsewhere. Store-brand cola instead of Coke. :drinking1

Rumor has it that the miller brewing company thought I was staying in Florida for a few weeks after the sailing and "stocked" Florida up. Now that I left there is a "glut" of miller lites.....so for all you "Republicans" supply side economics is on YOUR side if you drink miller lites....... :rotfl2:

Hey, that is a very astute observation. Our Governor is a Republican (you know the other dubbya's fat little brother).

BTW- Lampy and Dubbya, I meant to ask you what was the deal with that inflatable (Nixon) Doll you guys had in the dining room one night? I saw a photo of it somewhere. I remember seeing you guys with it, but had forgotten to ask what was going on. The funny thing is that it was several nights into the cruise, and I saw you guys playing with it, and it didn't even cross my mind as being unusual! :rotfl2:

Oh, and I am a Republican, too.

Dubbya/Scotty-

You might want to tell your new friend over there on that "wild" thread you and Lampy have been posting on that Scotty died. It is a little insensitive to say you look like a dead guy, isn't it? See this from 7/20/05:

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- James Doohan, the burly chief engineer of the Starship Enterprise in the original "Star Trek" TV series and motion pictures who responded to the apocryphal command "Beam me up, Scotty," died early Wednesday. He was 85.

So, your new friend thinks you look like a "burly" 85 year old? Nice! :rotfl2:

Yee-haw! We have 10+ inches here in Chicago and it is absolutely gorgeous today. The sun is shining and the snow is sparkling! I LOVE winter and I LOVE snow.

When David gets home from school, I'll be out there building a snowman with him --- mmmm, hot chocolate with whipped cream when we come inside.

Hooray for snow!

OK, here is what I posted.

Hmmmm? The guy who played Scotty on Star Trek was James Doohan?(sp) He was 5'7" tall and 85 years old when he passed away last July.

scotty.jpg

Willie Miller is six foot, three inches tall, weighs 260 on "light" days, age 47 and is the biggest "hick redneck" that the State of Texas has ever produced. (And proud of it!)

Are you saying that I look like a dead 85 year old Scottsman? If so, I guess I had better change my signature pic soon!
