Ya, we also have "lefts and rights" (first rights of refusal) how amazing is it that I have been able to have 3 properties in the subdivision? And yes, it IS a 24/7 365 day a year party subdivision.....private security and golf carts on the streets......drink and drive ALL YOU WANT!!!!!!!

Sneaking online while dh has been sent to the grocery story (ha ha ha). Having large company today and in the middle of cleaning and finishing up the Christmas decorations.

Having company is good -- forces me to finally get going with the house stuff and then I can kind of enjoy the last weeks before Christmas. Hubby is on vacation the week before Christmas, so we'll probably take a day to go downtown (Chicago) and say good-bye to Marshall Fields -- maybe lunch in the Walnut Room.

Well, better go start peeling tatoes for my famous stew --- ah....snow on the ground and stew in the oven, life is good!

Maria, what are you baking?

I made some 'butter crunch' (similar to Heath Bars) last night to put in tins for gifts, and the famous Hershey 'peanut blossoms' (Rachel's favorite Christmas cookies.)

And Kris, what else do you put in your stew? Would it drive all of the DHs crazy if we posted some of our Christmas recipes here?

Lampy, if your Nixon doll ever gets tired of the girlfriend you got him, there is a hottie here in Fla. waiting for him.

Actually, we got "punked" by some friends of ours. This doll has been making the rounds for years. The last time we had her, she was found floating in our pool with a sign wishing me a happy birthday. Last year, we put a santa hat on her, and put her in front of some friends' house. This year, we came home last Saturday night, and found her riding on Santa's sleigh.

Lampy, you are not the only one with wild friends. By the way, do you have Willie's home address. I was thinking about making a road trip to Texas. Don't anybody tell.

Yeah, they got NOTHING.

Since the Turkey Cruise was such a blast for so many maybe we need to try again down the road. Obviously many of us have chosen other cruises for 2006 which isn't unusual considering booking in advance is normal. We booked 08/19/06 back in 09/04, but with possiblity of new itineraries in 2007 maybe we can get everybody back together.

I am making candy.I make reese's peanut butter cups,little mice made out with hershey's kisses,cheeries,turtles,fudge,and chocolate covered pretzels. I haven't made peanut butter blossoms in a long while.They are so good.

I was at the Disney Store today,and I heard this bilingual Disney cd on in there.Do you know anything about it?The cm's said it was new by Disney,but they didn't have it.
