Kris- Mrs. TCD was bothered by the no-see-ums, but I was not. I think you gals were not drinking enough Corona! :rotfl:

Haven't tried your link yet, but I will either later tonight or tomorrow. Do you want to give us a hint about what it is?

TCD

hmmm....just a hint....something to do with a really great cruise I was on recently ;)

I'm guessing Kelli's response is - till you show for that romantic turndown - you owe her another cruise! WTG - Kelli - you got yourself the 10 day next time ;)

The pixs are great - we looked at ours a bit - been too busy to check to see if any are worthy of posting.

Willie - the Wonder shot with everyone out on deck is absolutely fantastic! Your princesses are b-e-a-utiful......... 400 pictures - you are the digital king!

Can i be the queen? I have 457 digitals, 12 film, and about 45 minutes of video (SIGH) and I have the overwhelming urge to edit, make slideshows, etc., etc.

Should've mentioned --- the link i posted before are to a slideshow of cruise photos.

Well, I have been waiting for months and it finally showed up. We just returned from our 7 day Western Caribbean cruise (Nov 19th - 26th) and there it was in the mail...the CASTAWAY CLUB DCL Shoreside Survival Kit.

For those unfamiliar, it is a CD with Desktop Photos, Music, and a Screensaver. It is pretty cool so I thought I would share. You can view and download any of the above on my website

If you right click on any of the links and choose "Save Target As..." you can download the files to your computer.

Enjoy,

Jeff (Buddy Bear)

P.S. All music files are "CD Quality" and average 25 Mb. The Ship's Horn is part of the CD and only a 1.5 Mb file.

Hi! :wave2: We are booked on 12-10-05 for the eastern caribbean. We were told not to book the snorkeling excursions from Disney - could go cheaper from someone on shore. We have our own gear, but how do we know who to trust, where to find them??? Does anyone know? pirate:

That was fantastic. Will you share your information? We leave on the 12/3 Magic, our first cruise with friends. Can't wait to get out of Iowa, cold here today.
Thank you again.

OK, Buddy Bear I am so jealous. I want that CD so bad and never got it. Thanks for the link. Now I just have to figure out how to download the music.
We took nearly 500 pics on digital and about 2hours of video. Not much luck with Shutters as we didn't stand in line as much as I would have liked, but our new camera took some nice ones.
All the pics are great. Glad you all had fun. ONE of these cruises I will finally make it to the theme shows. Something to look forward to for our next cruise.
Kenny, where is the pic of the 6 ft shark you guys caught off of Castaway Cay?
Oh, and Kris, I am STILL itching from the no-seeums. They ate me alive during our cabana massage. And can't do the Benadryl thing as it puts me to sleep and I am WAY too busy this week to be napping. (I am itching as I type this.)
And Willie, how could you miss romantic turn down 2 cruises in a row? Tell Kelli she has to have them set it up in Rockin Bar D next time.

Great photos and slides everyone.I am still working on our photos. It may be this weekend before we are done.We are having ship withdrawals.Too busy of a week here!

Jeff-I will link it for later when I have more time!Consider yourself lucky! We didn't get anything like that all we had was tons of bills after we returned. Thanks for sharing it with us all who were deprived.

I see you working there dubbya. It's all the cabin steward's fault! Yeah, that's the ticket! I'm sure Mrs. Dubbya bought that! :rotfl2:

We had the same thing happen and someone else I spoke with said the same too so we were also surprised when we came home to the turndown on MONDAY as well....

OK, since everyone else has shared theirs, here are my Wonder photos from our 2nd Castaway Cay visit.

We were a little late getting off of the ship. I would say it was around 10:30 or so. As we left the ship, we could see another ship sailing in the distance. We took a look from the dock, and could see the distictive double smoke stacks. Could it be the Wonder? What would the Wonder be doing here?

We walk down the dock to the Tram. As we get on the tram, David from Mexico, of the cruise staff slides in with us. He asks us if we saw the Wonder. We say, yes, but we weren't sure what was going on. He says (I am not making this up), that the Wonder is going to dock at Cataway Cay today with us, for a big Christmas kick off. I question him about this-how can the island accommodate both ships, is there enough room for everyone? He insists that it is true. I don't think he was trying to pull my leg, I think he had heard this, and believed that it was true. Well, that news kind of put is in a tizzy. Isn't everything going to be packed-oh, this is going to be bad. So, we rush to get chairs on the beach, and get ready to go to the snorkling lagoon so we can beat the crowds.

As we unload our stuff on the beach, the Wonder sails by in the distance. I am still thinking that David was misinformed, so I take a photo of my DD with the Wonder in the background:

wonder1.jpg

Just in case, we head out to the snorkling lagoon. As we make our way out to the shipwreck area, we see the Wonder has turned and is coming back to the island. Mrs. TCD has the camera back at the beach with DD who didn't want to snorkel. So we have no camera with us to take photos up close. The Wonder drives by the snorkeling area as close as it possbily can. We can see tons of people out on the decks, and cameras flashing. The Wonder approaches the Magic, and as we bob in the water, we are treated to a horn blowing contest!

Meanwhile, back on the beach, Mrs. TCD snaps another photo of the Wonder and DD:

wonder2.jpg

The Wonder then takes off and sails away.

When we get back to the beach, I ask Mrs. TCD if she got a photo of the two ships together? She says no, why? Is it a big deal? You gotta love Mrs. TCD! So, we don't have a photo of the two ships together, but we sure did see it, and because we were out snorkeling, we had a front row seat for the horn blowing exchange.

Our cruise really was the best ever!

Did you guys have trouble uploading my slideshow? It took me forever, but I don't know if its a computer issue or server issue or just a very large file.

Thanks,
Kris :flower:

So that makes 4!!

We had the SAME thing happen to us! :rotfl2:

Our Palo dinner was Sunday, but the turndown service wasn't until Monday. In all honesty, we'd forgotten about the turn-down service until we returned from dinner Monday evening and saw the towel swans and rose petals in the tub. It dawned on me, 'I thought this was done the same evening we dine at Palo.' :confused3

Rachel had fun playing with the rose petals and swans. So we all shared in the 'romance package.' LOL! :love1:
