Lampy, where are those exciting updates of yours? We're waiting......

From somewhere north of Havana...first night was ROUGH...but we all made it through. the Disboard group has an entire wing of the dining room, about 12 tables...Castaway Cay was great and it is smooth sailing so far this morning. unfortunately, the weather forecast for Grand Cayman is iffy - good chance of showers. The captain can dodge rain at sea, but it's tough to move parked islands...LOL. Anyway, having a great time...DS (6) hasn't lest the Oceaneer's Club again..in fact some of the staff remembered him from last year - for real. Having lots of fun w/Dis group both from last year and those we've met this year.

Chuck & Lisa :sunny:

and for those who have asked, i'll let lampy know his updates need to be...updated.

Doogie Here,

Having a great time. Gary Deleana has some new material as does Rich Purpera (sp?). Lamps has been doing his best to drink the ship dry. Poor assistant server can't get the beers to him fast enough! Legs contest is today.. I think it's going to be a fierce competition between Tri-D and I !!!

Been spending a lot of time with 5Js and WMiller. Had a blast on CC yesterday. We each took a can of cheese whiz snorkeling... fish love fake cheese!!! I've been pacin' the drinking in the afternoon... even refusing freebies... as they make me very happy... then two hours later VERY tired. Apprently, John (5Js) has a tough time saying no... hey it's vacation!!!! I ran 17.5 miles this morning in a half hour... 4 on deck 4, + the ship moving at 25mph (12.5.) TOTAL DISTANCE TRAVELED = 17.5  :earseek:

Have hardly seen the kids at night. I'd like a bit more family time, however part of the "Magic" is seeing them have such a great time. This is #5 for us, we've never had seas as rough as Sat evening. half the dining room was empty. Told my wife stop fighting it and just sway with the boat... it didn't help !!! :) Kids were fine.

More later...

Please do! This man is full of promises! But we haven't heard from him! Shame on you Ron!!! :rotfl:

Another wonderful day at sea on the Magic. We had a great brunch at Palo's this early afternoon. It was as always a delicious breakfast with about 25 people, Diser's and their families.
It was a bit gray and rainy while we were eating but Captain Tom found some sun for us afterwards and it is very nice out now.

BTW: For those not at the adult pool this afternoon, TCD is now to be known as The Beast, compliments of a pool side game. :rotfl:

My parents, KennyK and Mareka, and I are going to Palo's for Dinner tonight too. So no Lumier's for us tonight. This made my son happy. He's 12 and he doesn't have to dress formal for dinner.

I will probably go see Sky High in the movie theater tonight. I think I can get my son to go see it with me. I little family together time won't hurt him.

TTFN!
Cindy on the calm seas. :sunny:

Sounds like a great trip, love the tall tales. ;) ;) ;)

OK, here we are on our third night aboard the magic. We are having a blast!

Somehow, we were able to enjoy great weather today at sea. There were lots of clouds, and a few raindrops, but mostly sunny skies all day.

The day began for Mrs. TCD and I with brunch at Palo with about 25 Dis'ers. Thank again Willie for setting this up.

The TCD family spent the afternoon on Deck 9 by the Goofy pool. There were family activities in the early afternoon, and then Pike announced the Disney Legs contest at the Quiet Cove pool.

As both Doogie and Ron have already mentioned, the competition was fierce. There were five men competing, three of us Dis'ers. Well the first guy wins the award for Tarzan legs, the second guy wins Chicken Little. His DW must be so proud. The Dis'ers then represented with awards for Beast legs, Goofy legs, and . . . . .this is something Ron left out of his report for some reason . . . .Tinkerbell Legs! That's right, out own Lampy won the award for Tinkerbell legs! What an honor! I don't know why he failed to mention that in his report.

The Dis'ers also represented in the ship wide ping pong championship which was conducted this afternoon. TCD's DD won the gold medal! The Dis'ers are taking home the gold baby!

We are still enjoying smooth sailing tonight as we head toward Grand Cayman. We have had three great days of weather, and one very rough night. A lot better than any of us could have expected with the pre-cruise reports about tropical storm Gamma.

Weather on GC may be iffy. We are hoping that our good luck continues. Send pixie dust. Or maybe we can get some from Lampy (aka Tinkerbell)

TCD
