Live from Hilton Head June 15th-25th 2008, Anyone Else?

I have 5 of our nights booked so far, 5 more to go.

Well, we got all five nights in a 2BR Villa at HHI!

We'll have to do a "meet 'n greet" during that week.

We will be there June 22-25! Any body have any teens that will be there the same time? My DD is 15 and my DS is 12. My parents are going with us. I already have them booked. I will be trying to book my brother and his family next week at the 7 mo window. I hope it works out. Their kids ages are 6 (girl) and 4 (boy). Trying to make it a big family trip!

Just re-read my own quote. Correction: we will be there from the 22nd-27th! It looks like many of you will be there with kids around my kids ages with some littler ones too that are my neice and Nephew's ages.

My sis is on the waitlist for the 17,18 &19th (I told her she needed to call everyday) I told her worse came to worse--they could have Adam's room for the 3 nights. So lets send her family some that their waitlist comes through.

OMG! Were ALL the rooms booked?? I am calling Tues to try to book a room for my brother and his family. I'm willing to take anything though. Studio, 1 BDRM, 2 BDRM whatever! It will be for june 22nd-27th. Am I doomed???

Was your sis trying to book with points or DVC discount for those days? Oh, and pixie dust to her. I know you would love to be together at Hilton Head!

She was trying to book with points. I asked Saturday if they had member discount for cash those days and they told me no--she said she thought it was too early(which didn't make sense, since I had booked the 21st for cash ) So we are just keeping our fingers crossed.

Sounds like it's going to be crowded. Interesting about the DVC discount, we booked ours a while ago. I'm glad we have it to fall back on since we didn't get all of our days on points, but it is still pricey.
Can't wait for our days though. Hilton Head is the most relaxing of the DVC resorts.

We will be there June 15 - 20 in a 2br and studio (11 of us total). We are taking my wife's entire family so everyone is pretty excited. I would love to take them on the shark fishing excursion....anyone know how far in advance should we book that?

We booked the shark fishing after we arrived. Thought it would give us a better idea about the weather. It was a lot of fun, first they took us out to hunt for the bait we would use.

Thanks for the info...we have younger kids (10, 8, 6) would this be OK for them or it more for the adults?

I would say the kids would have fun. Our guide was Kyle and he was great at helping get our catches in.

We'll be there from the 20th - 28th! We are DH & I with our kids DD (7) and DS (3). We also booked a villa for our friends who have boys 8 & 5.

We are so looking forward to it! Especially since we just got back from WDW today and now look forward to HHI in the summer!!
