Live from Disney's Contemporary Resort, December 2008

[CR Resort Fan 4 Life]

Well my family and I have arrived and after a stressfull morning because we were not sure if we would get seats on our flight, however we are now at the Contemporary in a great Bay Lake View room. Just after we arrived Cast Member Janet was waiting for us and welcomed us back, then took us up to the 12th floor so we can check-in. Anyway if you have any questions I will do my best to answer them when I can.

Just went to take a look at the Contempo Cafe and I think it looks amazing, plus has a great look to it.

CR Resort Fan I love the Bay Lake view! I think it is especially relaxing to watch the boats coming back and forth and the sunrise...just beautiful!!

Just came back from spending time at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian and wow were those Resorts busy. Although I guess in the case of the Polynesian it was for Ohana and Kona Cafe, then for the Grand Floridian it was because of the Gingerbread House.

A funny story while we were at the Boutiki store someone says to me Jason how long have you been down here and it was my accounting teacher from College, who was down her on vacation with his family. So that was a surprise to see him.

Also just now I finally got to meet crazy4wdw by the Fantasia store and it was great talking to him.

Maybe we will. Also since we rented a car we did not use Magical Express, so I can not comment on how the lines would be for them.

CR Fan With your Bay Lake view did you notice the Bay Lake pool (we always called it the round pool !?) with its cabana set up ...there was one when I was there but they told me more would be put there furnished and with a tv refrigerator etc...like the GF...I happen to love them and that is a great location for them IMO...

There are no cabanas at all, so I guess the only Resort to have them is the Grand Floridian. Unless they are getting them once the pool renovation is complete.

I wonder what happened there was one there last week (it wasnt furnished though)..I walked over there to take a look at it They told me as part of the renovation they were being added to the Bay Lake pool area....I do hope so...theres nothing like a realxing cabana day at the pool (if youre a pool person of course!!)
