Live from BWV and F&W!!

DH, DH, myparents, and myself are at BWV. Checked-in at 10:00am on Sunday 4 Oct...room wasn't ready yet (BW preferred view 2BR) so we headed off to AK. AK was much more crowded than this time last year!! We didn't do as uch as last time, but still had fun. Stopped for luch at AK around 1:00pm and called BW to see if room was ready and it was. We headed back to BWV after seeing the Lion King show.
Checked into room 2047 and 2049. A non-smoking, handicapped accessible room on the same level as the lobby. We are located right over the ScreenDoor. I wasn't thrilled at first with having a room on the first level, but it is just fine! Infact, we love it!!
The F&W is wonderful - we are thinking of coming back again same time next year.
Have to say that crowds all over have been much more than we expected...not sure if that is due to F&W or people who postponed their vacations due to the hurricanes.
Transportation has been fine. The boat launches to EPCOT have not been crowded and run quite regularly. The buses to MK seem to take FOREVER with all the stops (or maybe it is the anticipation of seeing Mickey!!)

I am sad to say that we only have two days left...Thank goodness we are coning back in December!!

Just got back - we were at F & W on Sunday. It was wonderful! Make sure you try the Chicken Tikka at the India food booth!!! We were at AK on Monday and couldn't believe the crowds there!!! It felt packed - I was really suprised! I can't imagine going in July with the heat even worse and the crowds so much larger! Have fun and try not to think about when you have to leave!

Hi, can you tell me a little about the room you are in? We are going to be there in January and my Inlaws will be with us and we were going to ask for a handicap accessible room. We have a boardwalk view room set so that may be the room you are in. How is the bathrooms and kitchen? Thanks for any info you can give.

The bathroom has a large roll-in shower. There is a shower seat and handrails as well. There are handrail next to the toilet and on the side of the whirlpool tub. The rods in the closets are all a bit lower than I am used to, as well are the light switches.
I took a few pictures of the bathroom and kitchen areas for you. If you PM me your email address I will send you the photos (after being here for 4 days I hate to have the entire DisBoard see how wonderful our bathroom looks LOL!!!)
