We checked in to BLT on Friday morning.
We have a 1 Bedroom lake view room, Tennis Court View, with a MK view if we look to the left.
Our room is a handicap room and the room number is 7712.
(We had a one bedroom, but looking at the door to the connected studio its Handicap too.. Its room number is 7714.)

Last night, we went up to the lounge to watch Hallowishes. I have some pictures to share.
First the Contemporary at night looks cool:

Thanks so much for the pictures. I think the CR looks cool at night, too. :)

Can't wait to see more!

If your room has the roll in shower would you mind posting pictures of the shower and the bathroom... We will be staying in a handicap room in december and I am curious on how the master bath is laid out.
Enjoy your trip. Thank You, Susan

Its not in the view, just looking out, but if you go to the window and look down you do see it.

Enjoy! Its raining, so we are going to go on a resort monorail tour. :thumbsup2

I promise I will post pictures... the shower is not roll in but a tub with a hand spray. There is no Rain shower head. (my disappointment... I wanted to try that.) (Oh well I will be back in May)

Thanks so much for posting the pics, especially of the fireworks from the lounge. We are leaving two weeks from today for our first stay at BLT and are looking forward to trying out the lounge for fireworks viewing.

Also the Island is shorter and doesn't have the stools or over hanging counter.

Thanks for posting your report and pictures. Nice view. Great photos of Hallowishes. Appreciate you adding your room number later so Work2Play can add your room to the chart she has on room types with views. I loved your comments regarding the tennis courts and the vultures. :lmao:

I was surprised that you didn't have a roll in shower. Maybe you have to request that. I'm not sure I would have thought a regular tub with railings would qualify for a handicapped room these days. That's something you'd do to remodel the bathroom in your own home. But it must meet ADA rules.

People have been asking what does DVC put in the kitchen. Well I found this chart inside the kitchen cabinet door:

Also last night we watched regular wishes from our Balcony.
Here is a few pictures of the fireworks.

Afterwards I went down to the beach and took some pictures of the Water Pagent:

First photos I've seen of the water pageant. Thanks for all your hard work. Really enjoyed the photos.

Thanks for taking the time out of your vacation to post. I am going to try to book BLT at my 7 month mark for my birthday trip in May 2010. If I can, I am going to shoot for a MK view but your view is really nice. I'd love to hear how the monorail resort tour went. We always do that at Christmastime.:santa:

That's so cool you could watch Hallowishes from the Lounge. Did they pipe in the music for this too???

Thank you for the pictures. I am really loving the colors in the BLT rooms.

Yes, they did pipe it into the lounge. It was really cool.

When we watched the regular wishes fireworks from our room, we turned the TV to channel 20 to hear the music, but we didn't want to leave the door open because of the bugs, and we didn't want to turn up the TV too loud because we are in a hotel and it was 10pm.
So for regular Wishes we watched it without the music (except for the music in our head.)

The fireworks were really loud. My mother was a sleep already in the living room and the booms woke her up. If your little ones are already sleeping, it may wake them up.

Really enjoyed your pics! Especially of Hallowishes. We are going to MNSSHP for the first time in 23 days for my DS's bday. Wish we were at our homeresort but we will be at OKW and really excited about it as we are new DVC'ers. So glad you had a great time!
