So wildlife at POR is varied.

I saw an armadillo, (in front of my door) a large black snake (at the main pool),
Several squirrels, a host of lizards, lots of mosquitos, a very small alligator, and a large heron.

What? No bed bugs?

Looks like Karen's flight departed from MCO - even 5 mins early! I am sooo happy her flight down was a breeze - it will make the return much easier.

I did get a text this morning from MK - think it was MK - so she must have had a wonderful day.

Karen, safe travels and looking forward to a TR!

Don't get me going on the bed bug issue - by the time I finish digressing you'll be checking out the seat on your seat on the plane before ya sit down.

Looks like her flight landed an hour ago. Don't remember how far they live from the airport, but maybe Karen will stop in tonight to fill us in on the flip flop issue? Heck, it's mighty important!

I think she should start an armadillo thread on the Resorts forum. I bet that would be a first.

I hope she checks in soon to let us know how she's doing and if she booked a Bounceback.

Ah, the elusive Poly club. Well, it all started when we were chatting a few weeks ago about Lapu Lapus on the Poly thread. Someone mentioned scraping at the pineapple with their straw to get all that Lapu Lapu goodness out. Someone else suggested using a spork. The Lapu Lapu Straw/Spork Scrapers Support Group was "created" but, the name was just too long, so I shortened it to the LSSSG and missoutandabout created the logos with Stitch holding a spork and straw. You're welcome to "take" mine or I can PM it to you if you'd like one, too

I would have posted earlier but got home and the house was an absolute filthy wreck.

Holy cow!!!!! That's why I never walk around any Disney resort alone at night....something tells me you did not see all these creatures at night though.

The armadillo was at night right in front of me. I was scared at first I thought they had barbed tails or something.

The black snake was right in front of my lounge chair at the main pool. I left right after that.

I wore a very nice brown sheath dress with a multi colored beaded jacket over top, and my dress Crocs. I also wore a slip and control top pantyhose, but drew the line at wearing my Spanx.

They were actually both "kewl" (like that BTW) once I got over the initial shock. I though Armadillos lived in Texas?

Ok, TR starts tomorrow. I took a ton of notes, and will give details, including food porn, and some nice pics of both resorts. And also a mini restaurant thingy, and a comparison contrast of AsSpo and POR.

Whew! I'm tired just thinking about it!
