Arrived arond 12:30 today, all requests granted with an upgraded savannah view! Buses have been outstanding and the food and wine festival had great food and low crowds. The lobster rol is outstanding. Getting ready for dinner at Bom

Boma was great! We have been told the resort is 100% occupancy, surprising for early November.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you ask for the upgrade to the savannah view? We leave in two weeks and we have a standard view, so I would like to try to get a better view.

Thanks we are in heaven here at the AKL. The only requests I had were for a queen bed and to havea quiet room.

Good Morning, I did he online checkin and that was the room we were assigned. The cm at checkin told me we received a nice upgrade.

We're staying at AKL (surprise upgrade for the hubs for our anniversary) in January and i'm excited to read about all the free upgrades people receive at the AKL... makes me slightly hopeful that we might be as lucky.

We were supposed to arrive yesterday but all flights out of Philly were cancelled due to fog So now we will be there this evening but I have to fly into Tampa and drive down

Disney reservations were really good about cacelling our room charge for last night on such short notice!!

Yes I booked a standard view room only request was a king bed which was granted. I am not sure what this savannah is called, I know it's not Arusha. Last night there were 3 giraffes sleeping outside our balcony
