Live 365 Radio Station - what happened?

I've been listening to Live 365 radio on the internet with all the great WDW music for over a year now. A couple of days ago it stopped working. It doesn't list the station I used to listen to and it's asking for perferred membership.

Anyone else listen to this station? Can you give me any info on how to be able to listen again? Or - is their any other similar stations out there that I could get the link to?

We're going to WDW in a couple of weeks and I really wanted to start listening to the music again.

I am listening to Live365 now. Mouseworld Radio2 to be exact. Go to the website and see if you're logged in and if your presets need updating. Good luck, I love listening.

Listening to Live365 as I type: Florida Radio Project is the station. A search for 'Disney' should turn up 4 or 5 stations.

Try this: I had the same problem. I went thru the motions of signing up for preferred membership. I backed out at the last screen before actuallt signing up and the channels were back. I don't know why. The channels(most of them) did not go into the preferred club and I can listen to most of them again..smjj

The way I understood it is that unless you sign up it will only be available at certain times. Sometimes I can't get on and an hour later I can.
They want my MONEY!!!!!

I always listen to MagicTrips radio but I have it saved as a favorite....but my friend has been trying to listen to it and can't find it. Good luck getting it all back - I would be lost without it !

Magic Trips Radio changed its name to Florida Project Radio. They're on all the time, they don't seem to be one of those VIP stations, and I'm listening to them right now!

I just signed up and I got a messgae stating that as of June 1 if a station reaches its maximum listening capacity then only preferred members will be able to listen. I tried to log on to Mouseworld Radio and this was the case. It told me to sign up for the preferred membership or check back later. I then logged into laughingplace radio without a problem.

That explains a lot Beth!!! I just looked and it sure has changed....just in my favorites it still says MagicTrips and I hadn't paid any attention to it when it pulls up. I'll have to tell her the corrected name and I bet she finds it

Tried again this morning with all your advice. Still no go. I'm not getting anything under disney that even is disney related. I'm really bummed cuz I loved listening to this music. Oh well...

Try this http://www.live365.com/cgi-bin/directory.cgi?genre=search&searchdesc=disney . I've also had a problem in the past getting the search to work so I've saved this in my favorites.
Hope you get your Disney fix!!!

Thanks for the link, but - nope - shut out again.

I can get the link up and then choose disneyfan station, but then it tells me it's only available to preferred membership.

I guess my days of being happy at work are over!

if you really want to listen to it -- just pay. it is not that much at all.

I paid because I love having it. There is nothing like it available anywhere else. I prefer to think of it as contributing or supporting rather than just paying. I feel the same way about this site. It's a great product and I'd like to see it stay around, so I support it too.

I would hope that these sites don't ever become completely "pay only". As long as they are getting enough contributions to make it worthwhile, they offer a level of service for free and then a premium service to contributors. This is what Live 365 is doing.

I too signed up and I am much happier as a paying member as all the stations always seem to be available..listenign right now as usual.
