I found the gecko in a bigger set, but does anyone know if it comes by itself or in a 2 pack?

I may be wrong, but I think the gecko is exclusive to the Get Better Center.

I just ordered the Littlest Biggest Pet Shop for 34 from Walmart.com and it has .97 cent shipping plus comes with a free bonus board game (the LPS board game). You can get it for 33 at Target with their 5.00 Toy Book coupon but I figured for the extra buck or two the board game would be an added present

Hasbro.com, Amazon.com, Target.com and a few others were sold out of the LPS Biggest Pet Shop

I'm starting to have deja vu-are we talking LPS or Beanie Babies? Yes, I was one of those sucked into the whole BB craze and now I'm being very careful to not do the same thing with LPS! My DD just turned 7 and she got her first set last Christmas, from my mom. She wanted the Whirlaround Playground which was about $25. My DM said, "are you sure she'll play with it?" I told her she really wanted it.

Well, it's the best toy she's ever had! She plays with it for hours at a time. She remembers all of their names (I think she has about 30 now-I get them for her for special occassions and when she does well at school-she's reading at 7 gr. level now-just finished the 6th HP book) She plays alone or with 2 other girls in our neighborhood. On is 9 and the other is 11. They have the best time with them.

She keeps them on the dining room table. Sometimes she puts them in a small red wagon she has-what's great is their little magnets let them stick! She took some on her last trip to WDW and we got a few more while she was there (It was her 7th ).

Now, believe it, or not, my almost 24 yo niece is getting into them (she's also the one who got us into BB years ago ). She recently moved away from home to go to grad school in Utah and she's having a great time tracking them down. She only wants the unusual ones-no cats or dogs. She did make the mistake of buying the owl on ebay for $8.50 and didn't realize the shipping would add $4.50 (and she graduated summa cum laude! ) I talked to her last night for about 1/2 hr about her search. She's letting me know if she finds any for my DD and vice versus. She did find the pony and bird in Utah yesterday (and bought it) but my DD already has it-we found it in Florida in Sept. She really wants the spider and the ferret though, but we aren't willing to pay ebay prices for them (I just have to remind myself of all the BB I still have in the garage to stop that nonsense!)

Anyway, we are currently looking for spider, ferret, snail, baby gorilla, seahorse (for niece-DD already has) and a few more. I was at Target last night and they didn't have anything new. They didn't even have the Target exclusive Fairy Cat. I was sorry to read about Hasbro taking so long to ship even those items listed as in stock. I won't order from them.

I did buy DD the Biggest Littlest Playset at Sam's Club about 3-4 weeks ago. It was about $35-40 and came with 6 exclusive extra pets for a total of 8! My DD will love it and it'll be her big gift (I haven't decided if I'm going to let Santa take the credit for it or not )

(I'll have to check out Limited Too-she got all O this last report card-I didn't know they carried them)

I just saw that too! I guess it's time to go to Target (again) Last night they didn't have any, hopefully they were keeping them in the back. This is one of the sets my DD wants.

DH was rolling his eyes at me as I was showing him the seahorse that "we" just had to have. I'm hoping DD (4) likes them as much as I do. She's getting them for Christmas. So far I've got the Biggest Littlest, seahorse, cat and fishbowl set, Iguana, Turtle, Monkeys, Chick, Mouse and Rat, Squirrel and Bird, Dog and Spider, Hamster with Ball, Hamster/Cat set with the tunnel and wheel, and MIL is getting her the Get Better Center.

I'd like to get the Chinchilla and the Butterfly with Caterpillar also.

It's contagious too - DH & BIL look too, without coaxing, and are excited when they find one we've been searching for.

I'm almost sorry I read this thread! I didn't realize there were so many types of animals possible. I got in a panic reading about the Biggest LPS so I bought it today. Our Target had several but I kinda wanted to wait to see what Black Friday sales might be. In any case, I feel better not stressing over finding it. I also got the winter set - very cute - dog/cat/turtle in an igloo w/a slide. I love that they have no electronics!

That's the one thing about Santa that bugs me - we're the ones stressing & spending hours hunting down those perfect toys while he gets to sit back & take all the credit! Yes, yes, I know the joy is in the giving, blah, blah, blah, but still....

I tell my DD's that mom and Dad help Santa w/their presents.

Target will have the Get Better Ctr and the 1st Playhouse for $13. I just ordered the GBC for DD6 at Kohl's, because it came w/the white poodle she
Santa would find for her. I paid $28. for this pink poodle and Santa will take credit for that one. But it's ok because she still believe's and so does her 11 yr old sister.

Ok-I went to Kohls yesterday and bought one. It's the white cat with the chaise lounge. Boy, Kohl's is expensive though. Luckily LPS were 30% (7.99 @ 70%= 5.60 plus 20% off Kohl's charge purchase came to $4.48 which is Walmarts regular price.) Then I went to Target and found the exclusive ones (by the checkstand) I bought the dog and 2 of the cat fairies.

Then I went to Walmart and found 2 seahorses. I wasn't able to reach my niece in time to see if she had it (she does) so now I have an extra one. Anyone want to trade? I'm still looking for ferret and spider. PM if interested.
