"LittleMissMatched" Coming to Downtown Disney District

Maybe, just maybe, one can find something that does match. So Club LIbby Lu is no more for a shop that has merchandise that does not match? Hm, interesting, but in a nonsenseical way.

missmatched is replacing Studio 56 giftware shop
Libby Lu is being replaced by a shop with the same name as a Disney Channel show Disney 365.

I got my E drive back and am so happy that I am not thinking straight.

No Club Libby Lu is being replaced by Disney 365 which is a pop star makeover deal. Just like CLL was really. It's like BBB but for pop stars instead of Princesses.

LMM was put on the other side of DTD near BaB.

Thank you Laurie and Pixie for the replacement information. Sometimes, I need a score card to keep track of what is going up, down, or away.

It is on the north side (tram side) of downtown Disney and on the circle that goes around Uva Bar. If you go west and turn right you and 3 friends can have dinner at House of Blues but not more than 4 of you or they make you sit outside, lol.

A lot of downtown Disney is changed like Illuminations is gone. Disney has three options for Downtown Disney.

1. Get new outside clients.
2. Cover up the closed stores and act like nothing is empty.
3. Put in shops like Studio 365 and Marcellines to fill the holes. Not everyone will notice that Marcelines is a Disney owned company. :lmao: I think Disney will be force to do that until the economy turns around.

I had never heard of it before I saw it on Wed. I was just at DTD for breakfast, so I wandered around a bit. I poked my head into Lil Mismatched. It looked a bunch of technicolor flip flops and socks. Is that all it is? It only takes up maybe a third of the Dept. 56 space.

It is not completely finished moving into its new site and they started with the smaller store and later will expand the store.

I had not heard of this store either, until reading about it on this forum. It still seems odd to me, that a shop can be in business, when nothing matches. Is that suppose to make shopping there fun? Like a challenge, so as to see what will go with what? And or oh, this sock matches the one the dog ate?

Teenagers need I say more? Trust me them teens can be very weird in clothing choices and once something is in then that is the to die style that they must have.

Check out the website for examples, but basically the patterns are mismatched, but the colors are the same. So maybe one polka dot and one striped sock. I really love their bedding and would love to get it for my girls. Hoping they might have a sneak peek in the store...

It's not all teens, my DD9 loves to wear eclectic outfits. She would love this store!!!

I showed Miss 6 the website, gauge her opinion. Her answer about the socks was "but they don't match???", but when it came to the pyjamas and handbags she really liked them.

I am still not quite gettin' it, but that is o.k. ;) he he!
I have spent part of my online life for the past 3 to 6 years around kids and teens. I have learned to never try to figure them out. Case in point: Zac Efron. I actually once was the only adult moderator on a VMK board and had a member who was so obsessed with Paula Abdul and Simon being in love and married that she had her own web page with a typical white church with peaked roof and steeple on her page that mentioned the wedding of them two. I had to take a lot of pictures her personal page on our board because they were not kid friendly and obsessing. She had more ding marks on her notes for the board for improper photos and she was not even 16 years old.

Shall I remind you of poodle skirts, bell bottom jeans, platform shoes, nerhu jackets, hobble skirts, grunge, club kids, scene kids, goth, and fishnet stockings. :lmao: Admit that some of your clothing choices shocked people. I should show you the scene kids as they are so silly compared to mismatched socks.

I do like my fish net stockings. I am trying to find my most favorite pair. Lost temporarily somewhere in moving/packing/need to re-organize land.
