I just found these small 4 use bottles of liquid tide at Target in the travel size section. It was .89 cents.

Thanks, ever since Walmart quit carrying the Wisc tablets I've thought small bottles of Tide would work well. It's my usual brand too!

How many loads does the box they give you in your room do? Thanks.

It's supposedly a 'one load' size box, but you could easily split it in half and do two loads.

I was looking for those just last week and gave up. I ended up pouring liquid tide in some extra travel shampoo bottles. Next time I'm in Target, I'll pick up a good supply.

We used those Tide bottles too. It was much better than buying a big bottle.

I read another tip a few weeks ago from someone who measures one load each in a ziploc and double bags it so it can go in the suitcase flatly. I would be less worried with powder detergent in my suitcase than liquid, I've already had too many shampoo accidents!

I totally agree! I saw the tide bottles @ target today,( thier really cute, and small ) but I passed, because with my luck, I`d be washing my clothes,(meaning, tide, all over the suitcase ) even before we arrived @ disney !!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

No, just pop the bottle in a zip lock bag! I learned that trick a couple of years ago when we had shampoo, sunblock, and nailpolish remover all over the travel bag. Anything liquid now goes in a zip lock bag, and it keeps things together! I saw those bottles at Target too, I'll have to remember them for our next trip home

Yep I have been buying those for our Maine trips this summer...

I bought a travel bottle of Tide at Target for our April Trip. I saved the bottle and will just keep refilling it. I still prefer the tablets, but they discontinued them

I saw these Tide bottles in Big Lots today for 80 cents each...my family breaks out with Tide so I didn't buy any.

Went to two Targets in the Dallas area and couldn't find them--where exactly are they in the store--I looked at the travel section located in the cosmetic area--is that the wrong place?

I do have my liquid Tide in a ziploc bag, and then I'll probably double bag it. Leave in the morning!!! YEAH!!! Gotta start packing..

Texasprincesses,
I found the Tide bottles in the laundry detergent aisle at my Super Target, not in the travel size area. Try looking there. Good Luck!

We saw these in the Big Lots in McKinney just yesterday. They were up next to the registers.

We bought one in the Target in Sugarcreek, Ohio, and it was 99 cents. It was in the travel section.

One step closer to packing for our upcoming trip!

Why not use Purex tablets? I admit, I loved the Tide tablets, but some Tide exed decided to get rid of them. I prefer powder to liquid when traveling and they pack well.

They are available at Shaws and Star Market.

I haven't been able to find any of the tablets at either store. I'll have to check their website. Annmarie

Thanks for the heads-up, I'm not a real big fan of powder. I'll keep my eyes out for them, they sound perfect for my trip in July.

This year I have promised myself that I will NOT over pack for everyone, so i will be needing the detergent!!
