little tide bottles

Here in town at our Super Target, I found the small Tide bottles in the trial size/travel section for .99. I also found a slightly larger bottle of Tide that has about twice the loads of the little one for 1.49 at Big Lots.

Thanks for the idea about the small Tide bottles. We bought a large one last time and left what we didn't use for the next guests. I also like the idea of the tablets - less chance of spillage - but DH has allergies and Tide Free is all we use right now.

I have taken to not bringing the detergent, and instead I buy a small bottle of it at the grocery store. I used to bring the tablets, but they are hard to find now. I can't bring powder, because DH gets itchy from powder.

My neighbor has been known to squirt a small squirt of dish soap into her washer if she runs out of laundry soap..be careful though, because dish soap bubbles a lot more than laundry soap.

They were in the travel sizes in the Seattle area, but I was told that they Target will no longer carry them as they are 'redesigning' that area of their stores.

As a frequent traveller, I go the powder in a Ziploc route - that bottle is just too big for my taste.

I also pick up Bath and Bodyworks shower gel whenever it's cheap on a promotion, and take a full size with me to wash 'delicates' in the sink.

Today I found the Tide Tablets at CVS/Eckerd Pharmacy in the laundry section. I think it was $8 but I don't remember the number of tablets (40?). I'm in Dallas if this helps anybody.

I saw also the 4 liquid loader also in my Target's travel section. Is it 4 small loads or 4 large loads? I always had a large load of laundry and had to use 2 tablets.
