Sorry if this is an old and abused subject but...

I am going down in 21 day (YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), I am just a little excited ;)
anyway my little sister is going with me and she is age 10, we are on the DDP, I know she is considered an adult in Disney eyes, but she is still a very picky eater, would they let her choose of the childrens menu if there was nothing on the adult menu she wanted. I tried to pick resteraunts that she would enjoy, but with kids you never know. Thanks a lot.

i don't think she'll have any problem ordering from the kids menu. i've heard of plenty of adults who do it without a problem.

although, given the chance, she really may broaden her food horizons. she can order off the adult menu and try new things without worrying about the price of items she may end up not liking.

also, what you may do is pay OOP for kids meals for her and use the extra credits towards a 2 credit didning experience.

hey thanks a lot I never thought of it like that before, that is a great way to save for those two credit TS, thanks for the tip, that is really great!!! I am hoping while down there she will try new things, but I am not going to push it, it is after all her first WDW trip.... thanks so much for the advice!!

there have been reports on here, though, that sometimes "adults" who order off kids' menus at TS restaurants and pay out of pocket are charged extra (and given adult-sized portions). Just something you'll want to be aware of for budgeting purposes.
