We're heading to WDW in January and while we have been recently and many times over the course of our lives, I'd like to hear about all the little hidden secrets of fun things to do in WDW. Things that don't cost, but are gems that not everyone might be aware of. Example: Asking to ride at the front of the monorail, or that the firehouse on Main Street has an honorary fireman of the day that gets to ring the firehouse bell. Those kinds of things. I've heard you can wake Tinker Bell up, but don't really know much about that.

I'd love to hear all the insight you have to share!

Many Thanks!:ccat:

If you go to magic kingdom when it opens and rush into tinkerbell's store you can get inside the store and see a lucky little girl or boy wake up tinkerbell. However only one lucky child gets to wake her up so there are usually several sad kids leaving the store.

Another fun thing to do is to take the monorail around to the resorts and see the christmas decorations. Im not sure if they'll still be up while your going to be there but they probably will be. The grand floridian has a giant house made completely out of gingerbread and sweets in where they sell various gingerbread and chocolate treats. Another resort has a hidden mickey find made entirely out of chocolate. It's guaranteed that you'll go home with some awesome pictures. :goodvibes

Thanks for the feedback! I checked out the other thread and the gingerbread house sounds fantastic! Maybe I'll make it one December and can check it out :)
