Little Person Child

I am hoping maybe someone here can help me. I have a friend that has 3 small children. Her oldest child is 2 1/2 & although the oldest, still wears size 6-9 months & is very tiny. They would love to go to Disney next year but they are worried that she will not be able to ride any rides. I remember taking my 18 month old on tons of things when we first went. What is the policy for a tiny child? Does anyone know?

Any ride that does not have a height requirement will be acceptable for this situation. This includes all the rides in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom. There are many rides and shows in every park that have no height requirement. If you go to waltdisneyworld.com, I believe they have a link with rides that are good for young children. That should help you.

She would need to reach the height requirement for any rides she goes on. Because of the size clothing you say she is wearing, she is going to be too short for many rides, but there are still quite a few things with no height restriction at all. She would be able to go to all the theater shows and all the rides in Fantasyland with no problem.

Here's a link to the DIS site's height calculator. Usually, you would put in the child's height and it would give you a list of all the attractions the child is too short for.
But, if you put in a height of zero, it will list all attractions and list the height requirement for those that have a height restriction.

My daughter is a little person! For this reason we really ONLY go to Disney. There are rides with height requirements, but not many. Most rides are something she will be included on. Its not like going to Kings Island where she can ride ONE thing, or dollywood where she can ride 3 little grocery store merry go round things. She is included in almost everything! If there are rides some want to go on that she can't we find something to go do with her while others go off to ride. Mostly she doesn't seem to care. She isn't interested in roller coasters anyway.

Tell them to enjoy! Their little person will love it!
