Little People, Big World ~ Season 6 ~

I really enjoyed lasts nights 2 new episodes. What I dont get, is that it seems almost like they were forced to take this trip. Ok, maybe not forced, almost like somebody really pushed them in this direction. Towards the end, they both looked really uncomfortable with each other.

Maybe TLC for ratings.

And they weren't totally on their own, they had a camera crew with them.

I think Jeremy really wanted to go on this trip. He reflected how it was his life dream to go to Scotland. Apparently his grandparents must be Scottish. TLC probably sent them and said if Jeremy goes, so does Zac.
I can totaly relate to Zac wanted to sleep when they got to Scotland. They should have planned more days in Scotland and given themselves a day to turn their body clocks around. But I am guessing they thought they would sleep on the plane.

I'm impressed that they are staying in Hostels. You pay about $25 to be in the Hostel Union, and European Hostels are very cheap. About $5-$10 a nite. Most have a meal included, if you stay and help.

Zac and Jeremy are very different, physically, but mature wise, Jeremy is too. But Jeremy did admit Zac figured out the rail system and maps, after Jeremy let Zac look at them.

Where abouts in Scotland did they go? Did you see much scenery?

Jeremy went out his first day and let Zac sleep, but he just went outside and took pictures. The next day, they found a local person, "that happened to be a tour guide" and they visited a "kilt store" and both bought kilts. The guide took them to a hill or mountain called "Arthur's Chair"? and made the climb up and you could over see Endinburg. They only spent 2 days in Scotland and the next day they went to London and went back to Scotland for the nite.

Well, they wouldn't see much other than Edinburgh in two days and even then not a lot of Edinburgh. Arthurs Seat would have been a bit of a challenging walk for Zac with its uneven paths and steep slopes, but the views are magnificent. Down to London and then back up to Scotland for the night? I would have thought they would have had more connections etc from London but they must have a lot of funds as the air fares wouldn't have been cheap nor would train fares. Shame they couldn't have spent more time in Scotland and visited more places, I'm sure they would have enjoyed it.

Thanks for the details of their trip, OhMari!

Sorry I spelled Edinburgh wrong. Zac was a trooper and he made it up. When they got to the top, it must have been pretty windy because they were all holding their kilts down, and supposeable, they were still commando.:rotfl:

I'm royally confused.

I could have sworn that after the graduation episode, they called it a "Series Finale".

No, it was just listed as the finale, not Season or Series. I'm guessing that was becasue they ahd not decided at that time if the show would be back.

  :scared:

I am not really sure about that ... as far as the Series Finale ... as I distinctly remembering watching the previews as the twins traveled through Scotland ... as my DS had just completed "overseas studies" program with his US college attending the University of Glasgow/Scotland.
Now the preview did not say what part of Scotland ... as it was it turned out to be Edinburgh. DS watched with us last night and reminisced his Scotland days. DS soooo wanted a kilt as a souvenir but the cost of them, custom made like the Roloff's was $$$$$$$ (very pricey).

As far as the show, beautiful views of all the countries they visited, I am just sad that the twins seem disconnected. :sad2:

They must have sent measurements over months in advance then, as a properly made kilt takes months to make and has numerous fittings. ( and yes, they cost a great deal because the tailors are specially trained) The nasty cheap ones are , well, cheap and look it ( a well made kilt has a swing when the wearer walks) but how they could have got one off the shelf for someone of Zac's stature .....? Can you tell I love kilts?

That is what DS said, the ones that the Roloff's bought had those pleats that are the more $$$$ kilts.

oohhh! I'm really interested in seeing the second episode....DD visited Germany in high school and visited Dachau while she was there. She said it was really moving

Show was pretty good tonite.
Zac and Jeremy made a comment that they have been in Europe a week and a half, so only 4 days of 10 were shown. They seem to be adjusting a little better. Zac mentioned a few times, that he was trying to "find himself" or something like that. I think Zac realized he has to get out of his comfort zone and enjoy what he is doing.

I actually laughed when Zac fell asleep in the Mini-coup and Jeremy scared him awake. Jeremy couldn't understand why Zac was sleeping while they were on the autoban. I think Zac slept for awhile, and they made it seem like he was only sleeping a few minutes.

I really don't know if I could of toured the concentration camp. I give them credit for sticking it out.

Matt didn't go with Amy to Europe, but he will be joining them. He said he was physically unable to do things that Amy was doing, but will be meeting up with them later.

Why do little things like this crack us up.
:rotfl:

I know! I laughed out loud at that. :rotfl:

It seemed to me like Amy, Molly & Jake's trip was planned by someone else for them. When Amy was reading the itinerary, she seemed suprised about where they were going and for how many days.
