Does anyone know about this?? Do you need to sign-up, it doesn't seem so? It looks that for the Magic Kingdom starting this month, Fantasyland will be open an hour earlier on Wed. mornings (as well as Thursday for the regular EMH?). We are only going to MK two days, Wed. Aug. 23rd being the first and we planned to hit Fantasyland first. Now it looks like we can get in at 8am?? We are staying at CSR.

I wonder how this will affect crowds...

LITTLE ONES MAGIC HOUR

Beginning in August, guests staying at a WDW resort, Swan/Dolphin, Shades of Green, and the Hilton in the WDW Resort will be able to enjoy select attractions in Fantasyland one hour prior to the opening time for the Magic Kingdom.

Sundays: 8/13, 8/20, 8/27, 9/3, 9/10, 9/17, 9/24

Wednesdays: 8/16, 8/23, 8/30, 9/6, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27

Fridays: 8/18, 8/25, 9/1, 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29

It is not known if the Little Ones Magic Hour will be extended beyond August/September. A valid theme park ticket and Resort ID will be required.

No, you don't have to have little kids - it's a promo they're running to try to entice the preschool crowd to visit during a time that it's typically empty. You don't need to sign up - it will run similar to the AM extra magic hours. You do have to be a WDW resort guest though.

We'll also be there on the 23rd, taking advantage of the hours!!

I'm glad I happenned across this, I would have hated to get there on the 23rd and have missed it. Or have long lines already... I wonder if this will make the lines longer in Fantasyland than normal since that is the only section open?? :confused3

I guess this hasn't started yet, will have to post next week to see if anyone experienced it.

Maybe, since most of the people who go to WDW have smaller children.

I doubt the lines will be that bad. Many people just can't drag themselves out of bed to be at the parks for an 8am opening. I, however, CAN!! :teeth:

See you there!!

Well, we are not morning people normally, but will try for that day. We are definately going back mid day to swim/nap so as not to get to tired.
