Just back and we did the Little Ones hour twice - once on Sunday 8/20 and again Friday 8/25. Both times were very special for our 2 and 6 year olds as they could ride their favorite rides repeatedly with minimal or no wait, play games like "follow the leader" with the characters, and see Stitch riding Dumbo and Wendy riding Peter Pan.

We were there at rope drop and managed to ride about 13 times in our first hour! Thank you, thank you DISNEY! It is definitely worth being at the park early and waiting for rope drop, so get up early if you can. Any questions?

That is so great to hear. We have never brought a child to WDW and now want to share the magic with DS. What days are magic hours and is the rest of the park open?

we will be there in 6 days and will try this out! Follow the leader sounds wonderful, hope it happens still, and wasnt first day thing! :cheer2:

We were there between the 12 and 19th and got to use it 3 times. It was wonderful! Virtually no wait for any of the Fantasyland rides. Plus there were characters everywhere, and many characters even rode rides with the kids! Wendy was on Peter Pan and Stitch was on Dumbo.

My only complaint were the people who were allowed in who clearly did not ahve kids with them. But oh well it was still great.

Thanks for posting this! We will be there in 3 weeks and I am really looking foward to bringing my dd (1 1/2) so she can ride all of "her" rides :goodvibes

You're kidding!!!! We're going to Little ones Magic Hour on Wednesday! I'm so excited now!

:confused3 Can someone pls explain this as I haven't heard of this before? Thanks!!! Almost there... :cheer2: I think, Now Hurrican Ernie...GO AWAY to SHORE!!! :woohoo:

Me too. I've been seeing posts about this but I still don't understand what it is. Who is eligible for it and do you have to pay extra? Is this just a glorified EMH thing? I think my 4 year old would enjoy it.

All resort guests can participate. It's an EMH at the MK with ONLY Fantasyland open an hour early. You don't have to pay extra for it.

is there a schedule posted somewhere with the times that are availble, if so where is it,,,,,thankyou

Cool! We're going in Sept and we're planning to use LIttle Ones EMH at least one day. I"m glad to hear it is working well!

Sounds great. What time does it start and if the rest of the park is closed, how do you get to fantasyland?

Thanks for posting this! My kids are going to love this. Even I'm getting too excited to sleep. It sounds very cute. :teeth: See some of you ther soon.

Shhhhhhhhh...I've been planning to go to this since I heard about it several months ago. Don't tell too many people, I don't want it too crowded when I get there. ;)

There is more info on the Disney website under the little ones hours with dates and times. I thought was Sun, Wed and Fri but I really don't know.

Okay, not to make this any more confusing but I went to WDW's website to look this info up and the certain days they have this. I also notice that the usual EMH is scheduled on the Disney calendar for some of the same days. So does that mean this starts an hour earlier than EMH for the rest of the park? So would that make it 7 a.m? 8 a.m?

Yes, I don't understand this either, can someone kindly explain ? :rotfl:

Well, I thought it was at 8am but now I'm not so sure! :confused3 Hopefully it's not 7am or we'll never make it. We're already gonna have to wake dd up to get there at 8.

Don't kill yourself to get the rope or be one of the firsts ones in. We did 2 Little Ones MH and the first time we got up extra early and almost ran to Fantasy Land when they cut the rope. To our surpries 59 minutes later there were stil no lines. The second time we strolled in at 8:10 and experienced the same Magic without getting there extra, extra early.. Fantasy Land won't fill up for a good hour+ after normal opening so you can easily cover everything there by 10 AM.

The only small line we encountered was on Dumbo. Both times we went Dumbo was backed up. If you want to ride Dumbo, take any opportunity you see when there is a short wait.

Here is a schedule:
