Little Ones Magic Hour ROCKS!

It's just like Early Magic Hours, where Main Street is open, then they drop the rope to Fantasyland (inside the castle) at 8 am sharp. Rest of park opens at 9 am. Note this is only until 9/30/06.

Here is some info from Disney's web site.

Little Ones Travel Time
Take advantage of a special travel time for families just like yours. Between August 13th and September 30th, there's new fun in store for your little ones that you won't want to miss, including live entertainment from your favorite Playhouse Disney Stars and a special Little Ones Magic Hour in Magic Kingdom® Park.

Little Ones Magic Hour Benefit‡
As a special benefit for Disney Resort Guests, Fantasyland® in Magic Kingdom® Park will open one hour early on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the Little Ones Travel Time. Resort Guests can enjoy an extra hour of fun at select Fantasyland® attractions and fun magical experiences with beloved Disney Characters.

For little ones, we recommend attractions that emphasize fun. We've included live shows and parades in which beloved Disney Characters spring to life, recreational activities that are at a young child's pace, and dining options that are welcoming and fun for our youngest Guests.

I agree, we were there last week and this was awesome! Having the charactes out and about and playing games like follow the leader was very cool. The lines for rides were very short (sometimes we even walked right onto rides) except for Dumbo, which still wasn't all that bad of a line. I found this to be true every morning--even without the extra magic hours.

My only complaint were the people who were allowed in who clearly did not ahve kids with them. But oh well it was still great.

No kids necessary - there is no age limit requirement, it's a marketing ploy for suggested ages of preschool/toddlers.

Okay, not to make this any more confusing but I went to WDW's website to look this info up and the certain days they have this. I also notice that the usual EMH is scheduled on the Disney calendar for some of the same days. So does that mean this starts an hour earlier than EMH for the rest of the park? So would that make it 7 a.m? 8 a.m?

There are 3 different EMHs at MK- the evening one on Sundays, the regular morning one on Thursdays, and the Little Ones one on Sundays, Weds, and Fridays. The morning ones are 8-9 am, and the evening one is 3 hours after the park closes.

does this EMH end on sept 30th right???????

Actually, I think the last one is on the 29th, because the 30th is on a Saturday.

:thumbsup2 thanks for the info..we are not morning people, but going to catch this for sure now!

We got to enjoy this also on our recent trip. I could not get over the character interaction. We have never been to a regular EMH morning hour and I was wondering if that has characters at it also.
