What is this exactly? I see it on the schedule but no specific description.

Thanks! :thumbsup2

It is at the Magic Kingdom in the AM on select days. Normally an hour before open.

Fantasyland is the only land open. Just a nice way to do Fantasyland a little quicker.

You don't have to have a child to enter, but that is the target audience.

Magic Kingdom isn't doing it at the moment... they do it select days between August 26th and October 28th.

Hope that answers your question.

:thumbsup2 Perfect- thanks so much!

Can you really do all of FL during that hour?

I have never done it myself.

I'm guessing it would not be too hard.

I would do it in this order:

Peter Pan
Winnie the Pooh
Dumbo
Snow White
carousel
Small World
Philharmagic

Why? You get the top three most popular attractions in FL out of the way, right away.

You might just hit the hour mark when you go do Philhar.

Have fun!!!

Wow, thanks! :goodvibes I will use your plan, it sounds perfect! :thumbsup2

I think I read that they do it on Sunday, Wednesday and one other day, but I can't remember which.

I'm pretty sure it's Sunday, Wednesday and Friday (the 3 days a week that none of the parks have regular AM EMH's). And it's more than just Fantasyland being open. There are also a ton of characters out playing with the kids and riding rides with them. The characters don't sign autographs, or even really pose for pictures, but the interaction with the little ones is unmatched. Peter Pan and Wendy played follow the leader with a group of kids, then they each picked one child and rode Peter Pan's Flight with that child. We rode the Carousel with Goofy, and danced with Eeyore. It was one of the highlights of the trip for my kids. Even my almost 10 yo dd can't wait to go back for LOMH.

Where did you see this? Will there be LOEMH when I'm there 9-2-07- 9-9-07? IF so when? Where can I find the hours? THis sounds so great! I'll have 5&6 yr olds & a 6 month old.

WDWinfo lists the 2007 Little Ones EMH on the following dates:

August 26, 29, 31
September 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, 30
October 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 26, 28

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! This changes everything! I had no idea. Now we will go to MK early on the 5th for LOMH, & do Fantasyland from 8-9am, get a FP for Philharmagic & then be at tomorrowland for rope drop. We could have Fantasyland & Tomorrowland out of the way & still be at Toontown rope drop at 10am to walk in with Goofy!!! By 11 we'd be at Splash Mountain & ThunderCanyon, a quick CS meal & we're in our resort pool by 1pm, napping by 3pm & easily make it back refreshed to a park by 6pm. Who knew????

I would personally do Dumbo first. It doesn't have FP and the line gets really long as time goes by. We always hit it first (and maybe get a FP for one of the other ones while we are waiting). I don't know if there is FP for the LOEMH though.

We did this last year. We had it planned for one of the days and my dd loved it so much that she decided to do it again on a second day instead of the Playhouse Disney character breakfast. She played ring around the rose with Minnie and Daisy. Follow the leader with Peter and Wendy and also Duck Duck goose. Simon Says or Hooky Pooky with Snow White. She rode Snow White with Snow White, Peter Pan with Wendy and almost rode a ride with Goofy but he had to go. It was the most wonderful time we have ever had at Disney.

We will be there this September again and I am now reworking our schedule.

That is awesome!!! We will have to do that for sure!

I read about it on Disneyworld.com - if you put "preschooler" in as the experience and it comes up there.

Wow - I had no idea that was part of it. So on those days, you go to MK and just head for Fantasyland and the characters are there to interact with?

Last year, dd played duck duck goose with a group of kids, mickey and pluto. Also, the characters were all around this area playing games, taking pictures, and going on rides. It was simply magical!

but, it doesn't look updated to include the concerts yet for this year. Last year was awesome. My kids loved it. We made it to the Pooh ride right before Pooh hopped on with another little girl. It was super cute. We were riding in back of pooh...ds was thrilled!

I noticed that the concerts weren't updated too, I can't wait to find out who will be there when we are there - DD is going to bust!

I did see this, but of course we are going 9/20 - 9/26 so we are in the TBD group, we'll just have to be patient :rolleyes1

We're going in August so we won't be able to partake in any of the fun. :sad1: If my memory serves me correctly, I think they started the concerts in August last year, but with free dining being pushed out, I bet Disney pushed out the concerts too. I don't think the concerts went into October last year, but I could be wrong. Either way, that's good news for the Food and Wine folks and Free Dining crowd

I'm sure we'll survive though. :)
