We are planning a trip to Orlando in February to use a timeshare (not DVC) week that would otherwise expire. Since we have a big trip to Disney with our extended family planned next September (with DVC), we not planning to go to DW at all in February. Our kids will be 2yrs old and 8 mos old at this time. How much time should we plan at US and IOA? We'll be in town 6 nights. What else should we do?

Maybe Seaworld?

Maybe one day for IOA and one day for USF. With kids that small there won't be much for them at either park......

I would say 2-3 days at US/IOA and 2 at sea world.
personally I would go with 3 at US/IOA since you will have the little ones with you. It would give you plenty of time to swap off so each of you can ride things. While I love baby/child swap at boht WDW and USO, I prefer splitting up from time to time. US and IOA both have great kids play areas. The indoor Barney one at US, and if I ran the Zoo in IOA should even be great for your 8month old.

Green Meadows Farm is good for little kids. Kids two and under get in for free, Adults are $18.

i tend to agree with one of the other posters that 3 days would be fine for universal. with your children being littles, they would tire out and your days would not be full days at any park.

the play area over by ET would be great for both of your children.
dr seuss area in IOA would be another wonderful place to spend time with them.

there is a site on universal that will give you info on areas that would be great for littles.

green meadows is nice but you have one not too far from where you live.

i would google entertainment places in orlando to find more places to take your littles.

it has been a long time since mine were that age and did not do florida until they were 6 years old.
