Can't let Jeff have *all* the cute kid shots. Here are a few from this afternoon. D80+SB800+70-300VR. My first real attempts using RAW; long way to go, to get it right.

Nice Ed. I still can believe you up'd one of your bodies to the D80. I'm envious. If you get a chance download the trial version of Nikon Capture NX to use as a RAW converter. I've found that it does the best job with converting to JPEG's. Lightroom is easier to use, but I don't like that it automatically "corrects" exposure. At least it thinks its correcting. Capture NX doesn't correct anything unless you tell it to. Its worth trying out for a month.

She really doesn't have much of a choice in having her picture taken, with her mom and me chasing her around with our cameras all the time. Mostly, she takes it in stride, but I know it gets old very quickly.
