My DS9 has decided he wants long hair. He has this gorgeous white-blonde hair and I have to say I enjoy seeing lots of it. But...he is specifically going for the Sawyer look (guy from Lost - has just long hair all over, no bangs.) Meantime, DS has basically hair in his eyes. It is driving us nuts, you can almost not see his eyes at all - he looks like that shaggy dog!
This is a huge deal to him and he will not agree to a haircut. I wouldn't mind him growing his hair longer, but this in-between thing with his bangs is driving me nuts. WWYD??? Do you think a hairdresser could help with this transition stage?
I put a scrunchie in it last night - it's that long. I said "see, don't you want this out of your face?"
Oh, and BTW, I'll tell ya right now -- don't give me the "you're the parent, make him get a haircut" schpiel. I know it and we're getting to that point. This is one of those battles I'm deciding whether or not I should fight!

So she's been doing that a lot lately and it's better. I've been careful not to say much (except that her hair looked nice) for fear she'd decide if I like it it must be ugly. I keep telling myself, in a few more months it'll stay tucked behind her ears if I can just last that long.

I never, ever, ever want to go through this again.
. Anyway, long hair is in style for guys. They're like, growing their hair to their shoulders. Sometimes to be funny, they put their hair in ponytails. It's odd.
