Little Confused ????-- HELP ????

OK-- My fiance and I are planning on going to Walt Disney World for our Honneymoon in June 2007. OK-- I am so confused about this dining plan and I was hoping someone here could help me. We are puchasing the resort/dining package. We are going to be staying at the Caribean resort for 6 nights/7 days. We are only purchasing 4day tickets to the parks. So we can sightsee Florida the 5-6th day. NOW-- if we purchase the dining plan is it good for all 6 days or just the 4 at the parks. Are there restaurants at the resort we we can use the plan for the other days.

The dining plan would be for 6 nights. There is a counter service at Old Port Royale in Caribbean Beach Resort as well as a table service restaurant called Shutters.

Your dining plan is based on night, so you will have 6 Table Service, 6 Counter Service and 6 snacks per person. The credits are good until midnihgt the day you check out, and you can use them in whatever order you choose.

Yes, you have to purchase the dinning plan for the length of stay which is 6 days. But you can eat at any resort restaurants that are on the DDP list.

Credits are activated when you check in and are good until midnight the day you check out. To get the most out of the plan - think about where you want to eat and make your ADRs early. You can make a late dinner ADR for the days you plan to be out of WDW or book one or two Signature Restaurants where it costs two credits.

Oh thank you everyone for your responses. I have never used the dining plan before and I was so happy you all responded. THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your help !!!! It's off to Disney world now.........
