Litter box question

Slightly off topic but they are part of our family, SO...

2 of my 4 cats are using the pine pellets right now for medical reasons. They don't seem to have a problem with it. They used the same batch for 4 days and I just scooped the poop. The pellets seemed to absorb everything. There is hardly any odor.

I am wondering how many days they might be able to use the same batch.

Would this work for all 4 of my cats?

I know when our kitty was declawed they recommended the pine litter-didn't really like it though - I suppose if your cats normally share a litter box they would be ok with it. Our older cat wanted nothing to do w/ the pine stuff.
