Does anyone know of a list of the non DDPlan restaurants exists? I'm thinking they may be less crowded? :rotfl2::confused3

I know there is a list of INCLUDED On the DDP restaurants-I just don't wanna reinvent the wheel if I don't have to!! :scratchin

I've not seen such a list, but there aren't many, so it shouldn't be too hard to make one.

All the Swan/Dolphin restaurants. Maybe a handful of places in DtD. You can usually get DtD restaurants pretty easily anyway. If they are unavailable on MDE, try calling them directly. I know places like TRex only release a small amount of tables to Disney and hold the rest back for walkins/their own ressie system. Isn't Monsieur Paul non-DDP? (not sure). Otherwise, you're looking at off-property.

The small plate places- the Tequila place in Mexico, Tutto Italy (I think that is the name), and Spice Road Table in Epcot, and the Brown Derby lounge in DHS are the only places on property I can think of off the top of my head other than all the places in the Swan and Dolphin as mentioned above.

There are so few it's not really worth having one. But it would count all the restaurants at Swan/Dolphin, all the restaurants at Shades of Green, and Victoria & Albert's (which accepts only the platinum package plan).

If you take it out of the realm of TS restaurants then you are looking at places like Spice Road Table and Tutto Gusto and the Brown Derby Lounge (La Cava del Tequila serves no food other than chips and dips). Disney classifies these as lounges, not restaurants. And DDP generally is not accepted at lounges (it might be at a lounge or bar attached to a restaurant, depends on which one you ask; the bar at Yak & Yeti will allow use of dining credits to order meals, for example).

Can't think of any CS that don't accept. Kiosks may not accept, especially at DTD. I don't think Ghirardelli or the Wetzels pretzel place accept it out at DTD.

Isn't Monsieur Paul non-DDP? (not sure).

Monsieur Paul accepts DDP. 2 credits.

Rumors abound that some of the new restaurants coming into DTD will not accept the dining plan, but we can't know that for sure yet.

Currently, all DTD restaurants except DDP but as PP mentioned, that could change when the new ones open.

I think Swan & Dolphin have the best options of non-DDP accepting places.

Even with free dining, there are a fair number of DDP restaurants that will have same day reservations. On the day you want to dine, just go on MDE and look up dining (without choosing a specific restaurant). You're not going to be completely shut out other than in a place like MK on a crowded day since it has so few table service restaurants.

Thanks everyone!

The DDP isn't right for us as my 13 yo dd and I are the only ones coming this time around. She eats like a bird! If I let her, she would be happy to just eat the bread service (with butter) for dinner:confused3 :sad2:

I really like the idea of small plates. Should be a bit cheaper-get to try a lot of different things-and I won't feel bad not taking home the leftovers because there may not be any! :scratchin WIN -WIN-, and WIN!

Thanks again, everyone.

Two new ones: Capa and Ravello. Located at the Four Seasons, they are bookable through Disney but don't accept DDP.

Edit: Turns out, Ravello is on Disney's system while Capa isn't. Maybe because Ravello has a character breakfast two days per week?
