Its time to start making our list of things to pack while staying at Bonnet Creek. Just wanted to get advice from others that have stayed there on what to bring.

Here is a sample list of things I am thinking we need to take for the condo.

laundry detergent
dryer sheets
dishwasher detergent
dish soap
toilet paper
paper towels
coffee filters (does anyone know what kind of filters the coffee pot uses)
all-purpose cleaner (to clean kitchen and bathroom counter tops, etc)

If anyone has anything to add to it, it would be greatly appreciated!! We are driving, so anything I can bring from home and not have to buy when we get there would be a bonus!
Thank you!!

The coffee filters are cone style. They give you a small bottle of dish liquid that will be more than enough if you are only staying for a week....it's probably about 4oz. The only give you 2-3 dishwasher packets and the same for the clothes washer. I brought enough of each to use one per day. I brought a container of Lysol wipes to use in the kitchen and bath. I actually like to wipe down EVERYTHING when I arrive at a hotel/timeshare. In particular things that often don't get cleaned.....TV remote, phone, door knobs etc.

You might want a couple of garbage bags. The pail is a tall free standing one with the step to open lid. I brought a partial roll of plastic wrap, tin foil and an assortment of ziploc bags. If you are planning on doing any cooking you might need some spices. Condiments are another thing that I would bring from home if possible...the cost adds up when you have to buy that stuff at full price. I've even brought some of that stuff when flying. Last year I started collecting small containers that normally would have gone in the garbage and washed them out to take some ketchup, mustard, jam, peanut butter etc. We stayed for 2 weeks so we knew we would be doing a fair amount of cooking.

They will also leave you 1 packet of Crystal Light Lemonade and 1 microwave popcorn......if you like those things bring some more from home. Just because it was there my family wanted more even thought we don't eat/drink it at home.

awesome! Thank you for the response! Those are some great ideas!
We are going to do a fair amount of cooking in the condo, so the spices are a great idea! I am used to packing everything but the kitchen sink when we go on our beach trips, so it seems like its going to be the same here. Its good that we are driving, so it will make it a little easier to bring a lot of necessities and non-necessities!
Thanks for type of coffee filter to bring as well! :)

Great list!

Soft sided collapsible cooler (for pool day and beach day)
Febreeze
Lysol
Beach towels (for beach day)

We brought a lavender vanilla candle for our bedroom and another scent for the kitchen, it felt like home!

Also, all different sizes of ziplock bags - they are invaluable with the kids and park days.

Pump hand soap. I put one in the kids bathroom and one in ours and we just used dish soap in the kitchen.

Nightlight for my kids and a noise machine.

I would add a drying rack if you have the space to pack one for swimsuits and clothes to dry on after the pool...

Does anyone know if they provide coffee filters?? Or should we bring our own? I wish they had a keurig!

Your list looks great! Maybe add a dish towel or hand towel. :)

Do we really need to bring toilet paper? Good thing I saw this list - that would have been an uncomfortable run to Walmart!!:rotfl2:

They give you 7 coffee filters.

There are plenty of towels for kitchen use and each bathroom has 4 hand towels.

Rather than a drying rack I would suggest several clothes pins that you would use on a clothes line. You can then lay things out on the balcony to dry without worry of them blowing away. I always bring a few to the pool to clip our towels to the chairs.

Each bathroom has 2 rolls of 1ply. You would have to be the judge of whether that is OK for you or not. We found the TP that was supplied to be very scratchy so we bought some better stuff. Next time we go I will bring a couple of rolls from home.

Yeah, 1 ply ain't gonna work for us! tender tushies you know :rotfl: Thanks for the warning!

Laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels and a few
coffee filters are provided for free. Not in massive quantities, but enough for a few days.

Now, if your trip is very long you may run out, or if you have some special needs you may want to bring something from home.
