Okay, so at long last I have returned to the Disboards! I've been absent since March. The condensed version is -- we bought a new house, are still trying to sell our old home, went to Disney ... I think I've officially lost my mind at this point! Whew, life can move pretty fast.

After we got settled in here I realized AOL does not have local numbers for our area so I had to find a new server. MSN and Earthlink ... no local numbers either. Okay, so I obviously found a new server and got all my reward program e-mail addys updated. For whatever reasons, none of the links are clickable, whether it's the server or in the settings I couldn't say. I'm just not a computer tech by any means.

So... are there any free email accounts out there that anybody uses for their reward programs that work out well?

Thanks for the help ... now that we are officially broke I need to get back to doing the programs!! :D

I use good ol' Hotmail for MyPoints (and everything else!). VEry few people have my "real" email addy. I'm still working off my free 6 months MSN that I got when I bought my computer, so I didn;t wnat to have to give out a new email when I go off MSN in September.

I ahd the Hotmail way before I got the computer and didn't pay anything for it. You just have to keep you in box cleaned out of excess stuff.

I use Yahoo for everything (since I'm a SAHM now I don't have a "real" email addy). You get 6 meg of free space. And if I were a little better about cleaning stuff out AFTER I get the rewards, I wouldn't constantly be at 5 meg right now. But I've had the thing for a few years, so that's quite a lot of messages.

It's totally and completely free. And I'm very good at ignoring any ad banners that any site has. I just don't "see" them on the screen. I also use My Yahoo as my homepage when I start up my browser. You can put things like TV schedules, local weather and headlines, and the subject headings for your 5 most recent emails (so I can tell if there's anything new) on there, and I often sort of glance at all that before I go into email.

HTH!

It's raining here today (Saturday) so it's a good day to get my new email accounts set up. Thanks again for your suggestions!!
