List of Disney Stores Closing

Does any one have a list of stores to remain open?

Nope-- the King of Prussia one is not on the list.

I'm sort of suprised at Exton though. That mall just did a decent revamp maybe 5-6 years ago and got fairly high end.. before that it was sort of dodgy.

Man!!! I was just there last weekend and didnt see the Disney store in the new section and now its going to close!!!!

you know, it may have ended up not opening. I called about a 2 months ago to the Mall and was told all their new stores were opening April 18th and I specifically asked about the Disney Store and was told it was the same. But I think The Children's Place/ Disney deal came about the beginning of April so it may have never opened. I never called back to check. And I am not seeing Disney Store on their list of newly opened stores now.

I guess I will call tomorrow before I go all the way out there.

I was actually at the South Hills Village one again today and I reverified with the manager that they were staying open. I was worried that the woman yesterday was wrong but the manager said they will not be leaving. She was putting out all kinds of new things that she said they would not have received had they been closing.

I asked her about the other stores in the Pittsburgh area and she said they were all closing.

My DH was at the Mall of Robinson yesterday and said the Disney Store did not have any signs up about closing yet. I hate to see that one go, especially since it's so new.

I was at the Mall at Robinson on Saturday. They had a small sign in the right-side window stating that they were closing. They directed customers to use disneyshopping.com. The sign also told customers who pre-paid for DVD's or CD's to see the clerk for details.

I love this one, so close to me. The one at South Hills is very nice, just further away. Oh well, before a few years ago, I traveled to SH to get my disney fix, I'll just have to return.

I dont know about this list.

I asked the District Manager, who happened to be at Yorktown when I was in there. SHe said - with great relief - that they werent closing. Its one of the 'original' looking ones, too.

Awww, that's so sad. DH must have missed the sign. I am less than 10 minutes from South Hills Village so I'm happy about that but I also enjoyed Robinson too!

Well...they just closed burlington, ma and Pheasant lane in Nashua is on this list...

the 2 stores I worked in during college. Now there isn't going to be one near me at all. Closest will be about 1 hour, 1 hour 10 minutes. That stinks!!

This is horrible - It looks like EVERY store near St. Louis is closing!!!!!! Even the Galleria. What a terrible thing. I am really disappointed. Nowhere close to go if that happens...........

They are closing the 2 by us. Walden Galleria and the Blvd Mall. I just do not understand the Galleria alway was busy. Now in order to shop at a Disney store we will have to drive over 3 hours to Syracuse.

Not three hours. You could come to Toronto. I'm sorry poochie. I'm so sorry to hear about the Galleria. It surprises me as well. I don't think our Toronto stores are closing. Two somewhere in the country are - I don't know where though. Could be here.

I work at the Crestwood Store. The closest store to us will be in Chicago or Oak Park, KS. This is NUTS!

Just that liquidation starts tomorrow. We will close once everything is gone.

Yes, definately call first. I'd hate for you to drive over there and be dissapointed.... When we went last week I was pretty tired, though, I'd like to think my Disney radar would have picked it up if it were there. Let us know what you find out! (ps- the new section is nice and the food court WILL be when more opens - right now it only had two spots open...)

I know that the Holyoke Mall store in Holyoke, MA is closing next month. Their manager told us yesterday that they expect to be closed in late June.
It is sad because this store is where a grp of us sat on Saturday mornings waiting for it to open while we awaited the weekly disney pins to be released. We have maintained some great friendships from those days. It is also sad because the closest store will be at least 1 hr from here now.

This was a couple months ago, but we lost the Disney Store at Hamilton Place Mall near Chattanooga,TN. I went there during their big clearance and got lots of great deals and wish I had bought more at the time. I'm not even sure where the nearest one is now, I'm guessing Nashville or Atlanta.
